അൽ മസദ് · Surah 111 of 114 · 5 verses · Makkah
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ﴿١﴾
DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countennce: and doomed is he!
ശോഭയുള്ള മുഖമുള്ളവന്റെ കൈകൾ നശിക്കട്ടെ, അവനും നശിക്കട്ടെ!
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ﴿٢﴾
What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained?
അവന്റെ ധനമോ അവൻ സമ്പാദിച്ചതൊന്നുമോ അവന് ഉപകരിച്ചില്ല!
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ﴿٣﴾
[In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing;
(വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിൽ) ജ്വാലകളുയരുന്ന നരകത്തില് അവൻ വെന്തുരുകേണ്ടിവരും;
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ﴿٤﴾
together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales,
ദുഷ്ടകഥകൾ ചുമന്നുനടക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയും,
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ﴿٥﴾
[who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands!
കഴുത്തിൽ പിണഞ്ഞ നാരുകൊണ്ടൊരു വടമുമായി അവളും (വന്നെത്തും)!
