അർറഅ്ദ് · Surah 13 of 114 · 43 verses · Period Uncertain
الٓمٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿١﴾
Alif. Lam. Mim. Ra. THESE ARE MESSAGES of revelation: and what has been bestowed upon thee from on high by thy Sustainer is the truth - yet most people will not believe [in it]?
അലിഫ് ലാം മീം റാ. ഇത് വെളിപാടിന്റെ സന്ദേശങ്ങളാകുന്നു, നിന്റെ നാഥങ്കല്നിന്ന് നിനക്ക് അവതരിച്ചുകിട്ടിയത് സത്യമാകുന്നു. എങ്കിലും ജനങ്ങളിലേറെ പേരും (അതില്) വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍۢ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّۭ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ﴿٢﴾
It is God who has raised the heavens without any supports that you could see, and is established on the throne of His almightiness; and He [it is who] has made the sun and the moon subservient [to His laws], each running its course for a term set [by Him]. He governs all that exists. Clearly does He spell out these messages, so that you might be certain in your innermost that you are destined to meet your Sustainer [on Judgment Day].
നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കാണാവുന്ന താങ്ങുകളുമൊന്നുമില്ലാതെ വാനലാകങ്ങളെ ഉയത്തിനിര്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നവൻ ദൈവമാണ്. അവന് അവന്റെ പരമാധികാരത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഉപവിഷ്ടനായിരിക്കുന്നു, അവനാണ് സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനേയും (തന്റെ നിയമത്തിന്) അധീനപ്പെടുത്തിയത്, (അവന്) നിശ്ചയിച്ച കാലപരിധിയില് എല്ലാം ചലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കയാണ്. നിലനില്ക്കുന്ന ഈ സംവിധാനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അവൻ നിയന്ത്രിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ സന്ദേശങ്ങളെല്ലാം അവന് വ്യക്തമായി വിവരിച്ചു തരുന്നു, (വിധി നിര്ണയ നാളില്) നിങ്ങളുടെ നാഥനെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങള് ദൃഢബോധ്യമുള്ളവരാകാന് വേണ്ടിയാണത്.
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَدَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنْهَٰرًۭا ۖ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴿٣﴾
And it is He who has spread the earth wide and placed on it firm mountains and running waters, and created thereon two sexes of every [kind of] plant; [and it is He who] causes the night to cover the day. Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for people who think!
അവനാണ് ഈ ഭൂമിയെ വിശാലമാക്കിയത്, അവനതില് ഉറച്ചുനിര്ത്തപ്പെട്ട പര്വ്വതങ്ങളും ഒഴികിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന നദികളുമുണ്ടാക്കി. അവനതില് എല്ലാ (തരം) സസ്യങ്ങളിലും ഇണകളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു, (അവന് തന്നെയാണ്) പകലിനെ രാവ്കൊണ്ട് മറക്കുന്നത്. തീര്ച്ചയായും, ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഇതിലൊക്കെയും സന്ദേശങ്ങളുണ്ട്!
وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌۭ مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٌۭ وَجَنَّٰتٌۭ مِّنْ أَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَزَرْعٌۭ وَنَخِيلٌۭ صِنْوَانٌۭ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍۢ يُسْقَىٰ بِمَآءٍۢ وَٰحِدٍۢ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فِى ٱلْأُكُلِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ﴿٤﴾
And there are on earth [many] tracts of land close by one another [and yet widely differing from one another]; and [there are on it] vinyards, and fields of grain, and date-palms growing in clusters from one root or standing alone, [all] watered with the same water: and yet, some of them have We favoured above others by way of the food [which they provide for man and beast]. Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for people who use their reason!
ഭൂമിയില് പരസ്പരം ചേര്ന്നു നിൽക്കുന്ന വെവ്വേറെ ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളുണ്ട്. മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പുകളുണ്ട്. വയലുകളുണ്ട്. ഒറ്റയായും കൂട്ടമായും വളരുന്ന കാരക്ക വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുണ്ട്. എല്ലാറ്റിനും ഒരേ വെള്ളമാകുന്നു നനക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല്, രുചിയില് നാം ചിലതിനെ മറ്റു ചിലതിനെക്കാള് വിശിഷ്ടമാക്കുന്നു. ബുദ്ധി ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവര്ക്ക് ഈ വസ്തുക്കളിലെല്ലാം ധാരാളം ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
۞ وَإِن تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌۭ قَوْلُهُمْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍ ۗ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَغْلَٰلُ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿٥﴾
BUT IF thou art amazed [at the marvels of God's creation], amazing, too, is their saying, "What! After we have become dust, shall we indeed be [restored to life] in a new act of creation?" It is they who [thus show that they] are bent on denying their Sustainer; and it is they who carry the shackles [of their own making] around their necks; and it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide.
(നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടിയിലെ വിസ്മയങ്ങളില്) അദ്ഭുതപ്പെടുന്നുവെങ്കില്, അവരുടെ ഈ വാക്കുകളിലാണ് അദ്ഭുതമുള്ളത്, “എന്ത്, നാം മണ്ണായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാല്, ഒരു പുതിയ സൃഷ്ടിയില് നാം തീര്ച്ചയായും (ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് മടക്കപ്പെടുമെന്നോ)” അവര് തന്നെയാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥനിലുള്ള അവിശ്വാസത്തില് ഉറച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്നു (എന്ന് പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്), തങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ഠങ്ങളില് (തങ്ങള് ചെയ്ത് കൂട്ടിയതിന്റെ) ചങ്ങലകള് ചുമക്കുന്നവരാണവര്. നകരാവകാശികളും അവര് തന്നെ, അവരതില് നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും.
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ ٱلْمَثُلَٰتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍۢ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ﴿٦﴾
And [since, O Prophet, they are bent on denying the truth,] they challenge thee to hasten the coming upon them of evil instead of [hoping for] good 14although [they ought to know that] the exemplary punishments [which they now deride] have indeed come to pass before their time. Now, behold, thy Sustainer is full of forgiveness unto men despite all their evildoing:] but, behold, thy Sustainer is [also] truly severe in retribution!
(അതിനാല്, പ്രവാചകരേ, അവര് സത്യനിഷേധത്തില് ഉറച്ചുനിന്ന്) നന്മയെ (ആശിക്കുന്നതിന്) പകരം തിന്മയില് നിന്ന് അവരിലേക്ക് വരുന്നത് വേഗത്തിലാക്കാന് നിന്നെ വെല്ലുവിളിക്കുന്നു, (അവരിപ്പോള് പരിഹസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന) മാതൃകാപരമായ ശിക്ഷകള് അവര്ക്ക് മുന്നേ വന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവെന്ന് (അവര് അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാ)മെങ്കിലും. അതിക്രമം കാണിച്ച ജനത്തോടും നിന്റെ നാഥന് മാപ്പേകുന്നു, എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ നാഥന് കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനുമാണ്.
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرٌۭ ۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ﴿٧﴾
However, they who are bent on denying the truth [refuse to believe and] say, "Why has no miraculous sign ever been bestowed on him from on high by his Sustainer?" [But] thou art only a warmer; and [in God] all people have a guide.
എന്നിട്ടും, സത്യനിഷേധത്തില് ഉറച്ചുപോയ(നിഷേധിക്കുന്ന)വര് പറയുന്നു, “ഇയാള്ക്ക് തന്റെ നാഥനില് നിന്ന് ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തവും ഇറങ്ങാത്തതെന്ത്’ (എന്നാല്) നീയൊരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകാരന് മാത്രമാണ്, എല്ലാ ജനതക്കും (ദൈവത്തിലേക്കൊരു) വഴികാട്ടിയുണ്ട്”.
ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ ٱلْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ۖ وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقْدَارٍ﴿٨﴾
God knows what any female bears [in her womb], and by how much the wombs may fall short [in gestation], and by how much they may increase [the average period]: for with Him everything is [created] in accordance with its scope and purpose.
ഓരോ സ്ത്രീയും (അവളുടെ ഗര്ഭാശയത്തില്) എന്താണ് ചുമക്കുന്നതെന്നും, (ഗര്ഭകാലം) എത്രത്തോളം കുറയുമെന്നും, (ശരാശരി കാലയളവില്) എത്രത്തോളം വര്ദ്ധിക്കുമെന്നും ദൈവമറിയുന്നു അവന്റെയടുത്ത് എല്ലാം സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് അതിന്റെ സാധ്യതയും ലക്ഷ്യവുമനുസരിച്ചാണ്.
عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ٱلْمُتَعَالِ﴿٩﴾
He knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind - the Great One, the One far above anything that is or could ever be!
ഒരു സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ കാഴ്ചക്കപ്പുറമുള്ളതും, സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങള്ക്കും മനസ്സിനും അനുഭവേദ്യമാകുന്നതൊക്കെയും അവനറിയും, ഗാംഭീര്യമുള്ളവനും ഏതവസ്ഥയിലും ഉന്നതനായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നവനുമാണവൻ.
سَوَآءٌۭ مِّنكُم مَّنْ أَسَرَّ ٱلْقَوْلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍۭ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ﴿١٠﴾
It is all alike [to Him] whether any of you conceals his thought or brings it into the open, and whether he seeks to hide [his evil deeds] under the cover of night or walks [boldly] in the light of day,
നിങ്ങളില് ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ചിന്തയെ മറച്ചു വെക്കുന്നവനും അല്ലെങ്കില് അത് തുറന്നുകാണിക്കുന്നവനും (തന്റെ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തികള്) രാത്രിയുടെ മറവില് ഒളിയ്ക്കാന് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവനും അല്ലെങ്കില് പകല് വെളിച്ചത്തില് (ധൈര്യത്തോടെ) നടക്കുന്നവനും (അവന്) ഒരുപോലെയാണ്.
لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٌۭ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍۢ سُوٓءًۭا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ﴿١١﴾
[thinking that] he has hosts of helpers - both such as can be perceived by him and such as are hidden from him- that could preserve him from whatever God may have willed. Verily, God does not change men's condition unless they change their inner selves; and when God wills people to suffer evil [in consequence of their own evil deeds], there is none who could avert it: for they have none who could protect them from Him.
ദൈവം നിശ്ചയിച്ച് വെച്ചതില് നിന്ന് അവരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്ന, അവന് കാണാന് കഴിയുന്നതും മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ ധാരാളം സഹായികള് അവര്ക്കുണ്ടെന്ന് (ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു) തീര്ച്ചയായും, തങ്ങളുടെ ആന്തരിക സ്വഭാവം സ്വയം പരിവര്ത്തിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുവരെ ദൈവം മനുഷ്യരുടെ അവസ്ഥയില് മാറ്റം വരുത്തുകയില്ല. എന്നാല് ദൈവം ഒരു ജനതക്ക് (തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലമായി) വല്ല ദുരിതവും വരുത്താനുദ്ദേശിച്ചാല്, ആര്ക്കും അത് തടയാനാവുകയില്ല, അവനില് നിന്നവരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാന് ആരും തന്നെയില്ല.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرِيكُمُ ٱلْبَرْقَ خَوْفًۭا وَطَمَعًۭا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ﴿١٢﴾
HE IT IS who displays before you the lightning, to give rise to [both] fear and hope, and calls heavy clouds into being;
പേടിയും പ്രതീക്ഷയുമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന മിന്നല്പ്പിണര് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുന്നില് ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നതവനാണ്, അത് കാണുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളില് പേടിയും പ്രതീക്ഷയുമുളവാകുന്നു. കനത്ത കാര്മേഘങ്ങളെ ഉയര്ത്തുന്നതും അവനാകുന്നു.
وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمْ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْمِحَالِ﴿١٣﴾
and the thunder extols His limitless glory and praises Him, and [so do] the angels, in awe of Him; and He [it is who] lets loose the thunderbolts and strikes with them whom He wills. And yet, they stubbornly argue about God, notwithstanding [all evidence] that He alone has the power to contrive whatever His unfathomable wisdom wills!
ഇടിമുഴക്കം അതിരില്ലാത്ത മഹത്വത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്തുകയും അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവനോടുള്ള ഭയത്താല് മാലാഖമാരും (അതുതന്നെ ചെയ്യുന്നു), അവനാണ് ഘോരഘര്ജനങ്ങളുള്ള ഇടിമുഴക്കങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നതും അവനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവരുടെ മേല് അത് പതിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും. എന്നിട്ടും അവര് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് പിടിവാശിയോടെ തര്ക്കിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, അവന്റെ അളക്കാനാവാത്ത യുക്തി വിധിക്കുന്നതെന്തും മാറ്റിമറിക്കാന് അവനു മാത്രമേ അധികാരമുള്ളൂ എന്ന് (എല്ലാ തെളിവുകളും) ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും.
لَهُۥ دَعْوَةُ ٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُونَ لَهُم بِشَىْءٍ إِلَّا كَبَٰسِطِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى ٱلْمَآءِ لِيَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَٰلِغِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا دُعَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ﴿١٤﴾
Unto Him [alone] is due all prayer aiming at the Ultimate Truth, since those [other beings or powers] whom men invoke instead of God 31 cannot respond to them in any way - [so that he who invokes them is] but like one who stretches his open hands towards water, [hoping] that it will reach his mouth, the while it never reaches him. Hence, the prayer of those who deny the truth amounts to no more than losing oneself in grievous error.
പരമമായ സത്യത്തെ ലക്ഷ്യം വച്ചുള്ള എല്ലാ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനകളും അവനിലേക്ക് (മാത്രമാണ്). ദൈവത്തെ കൂടാതെ അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന (മറ്റ് വസ്തുക്കൾക്കും ശക്തികൾക്കും) ഒരുത്തരവും നല്കാനാവില്ല, (അതിനാല് അവരെ വിളിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവര്) വെള്ളത്തിലേക്ക് ഇരു കൈകളും നീട്ടി അത് വായിലേക്കെത്തുമെന്ന് (പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനെ) പോലെയാണ്, അതൊരിക്കലും അവനിലേക്കെത്തുകയില്ല. അതിനാല്, സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന പാഴായതുതന്നെ.
وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ طَوْعًۭا وَكَرْهًۭا وَظِلَٰلُهُم بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلْءَاصَالِ ۩﴿١٥﴾
And before God, they prostrate themselves, willingly or unwillingly, all [things and beings] that are in the heavens and on earth, as do their shadows in the mornings and the evenings.
ഇച്ഛാപൂര്വമായും അല്ലാതെയും ആകാശഭൂമികളിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും സാഷ്ടാംഗം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് ദൈവത്തിന് മുന്നിലാണ്, അവരുടെ നിഴലുകളും പ്രഭാതത്തിലും പ്രദോഷത്തിലും അതുതന്നെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قُلْ أَفَٱتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًۭا وَلَا ضَرًّۭا ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَٱلنُّورُ ۗ أَمْ جَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ خَلَقُوا۟ كَخَلْقِهِۦ فَتَشَٰبَهَ ٱلْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّٰرُ﴿١٦﴾
Say: "Who is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "[It is] God." Say: "[Why,] then, do you take for your protectors, instead of Him, such as have it not within their power to bring benefit to, or avert harm from, themselves?" Say: "Can the blind and the seeing be deemed equal? - or can the depths of darkness and the light be deemed equal?" Or do they [really] believe that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers that have created the like of what He creates, so that this act of creation appears to them to be similar [to His]? - Say: "God is the Creator of all things; and He is the One who holds absolute sway over all that exists."
അവരോട് ചോദിക്കുക: “ആരാണ് അകാശഭൂമികളുടെ നാഥന്?” പറയുക: “(അത്) ദൈവമാകുന്നു.” പറയുക: “തങ്ങള്ക്കുതന്നെ ഗുണമോ ദോഷമോ വരുത്താനധികാരമില്ലാത്തവരെ നിങ്ങള് അവനെ വിട്ട് രക്ഷകരാക്കി കണക്കാക്കിയത് (എന്തിനാണ്)?” പറയുക: “അന്ധനും കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവനും ഒരു പോലെയാണോ? ഘനാന്ധകാരവും വെളിച്ചവും ഒരുപോലെയാണോ?” അങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തോടൊപ്പം, അവന് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് പോലെ സൃഷ്ടിനടത്തിയ, മറ്റ് ദിവ്യശക്തികളുണ്ടെന്ന് അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ, അവരുടെ സൃഷ്ടി (അവന്റേത്) പോലെ തോന്നിയോ?- പറയുക: “ദൈവമാകുന്നു എല്ലാത്തിന്റേയും സ്രഷ്ടാവ്, നിലനില്ക്കുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിനും മേല് സമ്പൂര്ണ അധികാരമുള്ളവനാണവന്.”
أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌۢ بِقَدَرِهَا فَٱحْتَمَلَ ٱلسَّيْلُ زَبَدًۭا رَّابِيًۭا ۚ وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلنَّارِ ٱبْتِغَآءَ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَٰعٍۢ زَبَدٌۭ مِّثْلُهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَٱلْبَٰطِلَ ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَآءًۭ ۖ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ﴿١٧﴾
[Whenever] He sends down water from the sky, and [once-dry] river-beds are running high according to their measure, the stream carries scum on its surface; and, likewise, from that [metal] which they smelt in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils, [there rises] scum. In this way does God set forth the parable of truth and falsehood: for, as far as the scum is concerned, it passes away as [does all] dross; but that which is of benefit to man abides on earth. In this way does God set forth the parables
അവന് മാനത്തുനിന്ന് വെള്ളമിറക്കു(മ്പോള്), (ഒരിക്കല് വരണ്ടുണങ്ങിയ) നദികളിലൂടെ അതിന്റെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് വെള്ളം ഉയര്ന്നൊഴുകുന്നു അരുവിയുടെ ഉപരിതലത്തില് പതയുണ്ട്, അതുപോലെ, ആഭരണങ്ങളോ പാത്രങ്ങളോ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതിനായി അവര് അഗ്നിയില് ഉരുക്കുന്ന (ലോഹത്തില്) നിന്നും പത (ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു). ഇവ്വിധമാണ് ദൈവം സത്യത്തെയും അസത്യത്തെയും ഉപമിക്കുന്നത്: ആ പത എല്ലാ മാലിന്യങ്ങളേയും പോലെ വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു. എന്നാല് മനുഷ്യനു ഉപകാരമുള്ളത് ഭൂമിയില് ബാക്കിയാവുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഇവ്വിധമാണ് ദൈവം ഉപമകളിലൂടെ അവന്റെ സന്ദേശങ്ങള് ഗ്രഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُۥ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ﴿١٨﴾
of those who have responded to their Sustainer with a goodly response, and of those who did not respond to Him. [As for the latter,] if they possessed all that is on earth, and twice as much, they would surely offer it as ransom [on the Day of Judgment]: a most evil reckoning awaits them, and their goal is hell: and how evil a resting-place!
തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥനോട് നല്ല രീതിയിൽ പ്രതികരിച്ചവരുടേയും, അവന്റെ ക്ഷണത്തിന് ഉത്തരം പറയാത്തവരുടേയും. (രണ്ടാമത്തെ കൂട്ടര്ക്ക്) ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും അതിലിരട്ടിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കില്, (വിധിനിര്ണയ നാളില്) അവയൊക്കെയും മോചനദ്രവ്യമായി നല്കാന് അവര് തയ്യാറാകും, ഏറ്റവും മോശമായ വിചാരണ അവരെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അവരുടെ താവളം നരകമാണ്, എത്ര ദുഷിച്ച സങ്കേതം.
۞ أَفَمَن يَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ كَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْمَىٰٓ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ﴿١٩﴾
CAN, THEN, he who knows that whatever has been bestowed from on high upon thee by thy Sustainer is the truth be deemed equal to one who is blind? Only they who are endowed with insight keep this in mind:
നിന്റെ നാഥനില് നിന്ന് നിനക്ക് ഇറക്കപ്പെട്ടത് സത്യമാണെന്ന് അറിയുന്നവന് അന്ധനായ ഒരാളെ പോലെ കണക്കാക്കാന് കഴിയുമോ? ഉള്ക്കാഴ്ച്ചയുള്ളവര് മാത്രമേ ഇത് ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുകയുള്ളൂ.
ٱلَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَنقُضُونَ ٱلْمِيثَٰقَ﴿٢٠﴾
they who are true to their bond with God and never break their covenant;
ദൈവവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തില് സത്യസന്ധരും അവനോടുള്ള കരാര് ലംഘിക്കാത്തവരുമാണവര്, കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ക്കാന് ദൈവം പറഞ്ഞത് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ക്കുന്നവരും,
