അൽ ഹിജ്ർ · Surah 15 of 114 · 99 verses · Makkah
الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ﴿١﴾
Alif. Lam. Ra. THESE ARE MESSAGES of revelation - of a discourse clear in itself and clearly showing the truth.
അലിഫ് ലാം റാ ഇവ വേദത്തിന്റെയും സുവ്യക്തമായ ഖുർആനിന്റെയും സൂക്തങ്ങളാകുന്നു
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ﴿٢﴾
And it will come to pass that those who are [now] bent on denying this truth will wish that they had surrendered themselves to God [in their lifetime].
സത്യനിഷേധത്തിൽ ഉറച്ചു നിന്നവർ “കഷ്ടം! ഞങ്ങള് അനുസരണം കൈക്കൊണ്ടവരായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്” എന്ന് വിലപിക്കും.
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿٣﴾
Leave them alone; let them eat and enjoy themselves the while the hope [of vain delights] beguiles them: for in time they will come to know [the truth].
നീ അവരെ വിട്ടേക്കുക. അവര് തിന്നുകയും സുഖിക്കുകയും വ്യാമോഹത്തില് വ്യാപൃതരാകുകയും ചെയ്തു കൊള്ളട്ടെ. (പിന്നീട്) അവര് മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൊള്ളും.
وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ﴿٤﴾
And never have We destroyed any community [for its wrongdoing] unless a divine writ had (previously] been made known to it;'
(തങ്ങളുടെ അധർമ്മം കാരണമായി) ഒരു ജനതയെയും അതിന് ദൈവിക വെളിപാടിനെക്കുറിച്ച് (നേരത്തേ തന്നെ) അറിവ് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടല്ലാതെ നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ﴿٥﴾
[but remember that] no community can ever forestall [the end of] its term - and neither can they delay [it].
യാതൊരു സമുദായവും അതിന്റെ അവധിയെ മുൻകടക്കുകയില്ല. (അവധി വിട്ട്) അവര് പിന്നോട്ട് പോകുകയുമില്ല
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌۭ﴿٦﴾
And yet, they [who deny the truth] say: "O thou unto whom this reminder has [allegedly] been bestowed from on high: verily, thou art mad!
(സത്യനിഷേധികളായ അവർ) പറയുന്നു: “ഹേ, ഈ ഉദ്ബോധനം ഇറക്കപ്പെട്ടവനേ, നിസ്സംശയം നീ ഒരു കിറുക്കന് തന്നെ.
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ﴿٧﴾
Why dost thou not bring before us angels, if thou art a man of truth?"
സത്യവാനെങ്കില്, ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നില് മലക്കുകളെ കൊണ്ടുവരാത്തതെന്ത്?”
مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًۭا مُّنظَرِينَ﴿٨﴾
[Yet] We never send down angels otherwise than in accordance with the [demands of] truth; and [were the angels to appear now,] lo! they [who reject this divine writ] would have no further respite!
മലക്കുകളെ നാം (തക്കതായ) ന്യായ പ്രകാരമല്ലാതെ ഇറക്കാറില്ല. പിന്നെ (നിഷേധികളായ) ജനത്തിന് അവസരം നല്കപ്പെടുന്നതല്ല.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ﴿٩﴾
Behold, it is We Ourselves who have bestowed from on high, step by step, this reminder? and, behold, it is We who shall truly guard it [from all corruption].
ഈ ഉദ്ബോധനം നാം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതാകുന്നു. നാം തന്നെ അതിന്റെ സൂക്ഷിപ്പുകാരനുമാകുന്നു.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿١٠﴾
AND, INDEED, [O Prophet,] even before thy time did We send [Our apostles] unto communities of old -
പ്രവാചകാ, നിനക്കുമുമ്പ് കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ നിരവധി സമുദായങ്ങളില് നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ﴿١١﴾
and never yet came an apostle to them without their deriding him.
ജനങ്ങളില് ഒരു ദൈവദൂതന് വരുമ്പോഴൊക്കെ അവരദ്ദേഹത്തെ പരിഹസിക്കാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല.
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿١٢﴾
Even so do We [now] cause this [scorn of Our message] to pervade the hearts of those who are lost in sin,
എങ്കിലും പാപികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് ഇവ്വിധം അതിനെ (നമ്മുടെ സന്ദേശത്തോടുള്ള പരിഹാസത്തെ) നാം കടത്തിവിടുന്നു.
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿١٣﴾
who do not believe in it, although the way which those [evildoers] of olden times had to go has long been within their ken.
അവര് അതില് വിശ്വാസം കൊള്ളുന്നില്ല. പൂര്വ്വീകന്മാർക്ക് സംഭവിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ അറിവിൽ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് താനും.
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ﴿١٤﴾
Yet even had We opened to them a gateway to heaven and they had ascended, on and on, up to it,
നാം അവര്ക്ക് ആകാശത്തില് ചില കവാടങ്ങള് തുറന്നുകൊടുക്കുകയും അവര് പട്ടാപ്പകല് അതിലൂടെ കയറിത്തുടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കില് പോലും,
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌۭ مَّسْحُورُونَ﴿١٥﴾
they would surely have said, "It is only our eyes that are spellbound! Nay, we have been bewitched!"
“നമ്മുടെ കണ്ണുകള് വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നല്ല, നമ്മള് ആഭിചാരം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു’ എന്നേ അവര് പറയൂ.
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًۭا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ﴿١٦﴾
AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold;
നമ്മുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് നോക്കുക, വിപുലമായ താരാഗണങ്ങളെ സംവിധാനിച്ചു. കാഴ്ചക്കാര്ക്കായി നാം അതിനെ അലങ്കാരമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ رَّجِيمٍ﴿١٧﴾
and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 16-
അഭിശപ്തരായ എല്ലാ പിശാചുക്കളിൽ നിന്നും നാമതിനെ സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿١٨﴾
so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see.
ഒരു പിശാചിനും അവിടെ വഴി കണ്ടെത്താന് സാധിക്കുകയില്ല, രഹസ്യമായി (അറിവിനപ്പുറമുള്ളവ) കട്ടുപഠിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ആരെയും വ്യക്തമായി കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഒരു ജ്വാല പിന്തുടരും.
وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مَّوْزُونٍۢ﴿١٩﴾
() And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner,
ഭൂമിയെ നാം വിശാലമാക്കുകയും അതില് പര്വതങ്ങളുറപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അതില് സകലവിധ സസ്യങ്ങളെയും സന്തുലിതമായ പരിമാണത്തിൽ സജ്ജീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ﴿٢٠﴾
and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you.
നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്രയിക്കാത്ത എത്രയോ സൃഷ്ടികള്ക്കും നാം അതില് ജീവിതോപാധികള് സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
