അന്നംൽ · Surah 27 of 114 · 93 verses · Makkah
طسٓ ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍۢ مُّبِينٍ﴿١﴾
Ta. Sin. THESE ARE MESSAGES of the Qur'an - a divine writ clear in itself and clearly showing the truth:
താ. സീന്. ഖുര്ആനിന്റെ സന്ദേശങ്ങളാകുന്നു ഇവ- സ്വയം വ്യക്തമായതും സത്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നതുമായ ദൈവിക വേദപുസ്തകം
هُدًۭى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿٢﴾
a guidance and a glad tiding to the believers
വിശ്വാസികള്ക്കായുള്ള നേര്മാര്ഗവും ശുഭവാര്ത്തയുമായുള്ളത്
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ﴿٣﴾
who are constant in prayer and spend in charity: for it is they, they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come!
പ്രാര്ഥന മുറക്ക് നിര്വ്വഹിക്കുകയും ദാനധര്മങ്ങള് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്; വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അവര് പൂര്ണ ബോധ്യരുമാണ്!
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ﴿٤﴾
As for those who will not believe in the life to come - behold, goodly have We made their own doings appear unto them, and so they stumble blindly to and fro.
വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തില് വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര്ക്ക്, നിശ്ചയം അവരുടെ ചെയ്തികളെ അവര്ക്കു മുന്നില് മനോഹരമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു, അങ്ങനെയവര് പരിഭ്രാന്തരായി നടക്കും.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ﴿٥﴾
It is they whom the worst of suffering awaits: for it is they, they who in the life to come shall be the greatest losers!
അവരെയാകുന്നു നശിക്കപ്പെട്ട ശിക്ഷ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്: അവരാകുന്നു വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും നഷ്ടം സംഭവിച്ചവര്!
وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ﴿٦﴾
But [as for thee, O believer,] verily, thou hast received this Qur'an out of the grace of One who is wise, all-knowing.
എന്നാല് [വിശ്വാസികളെ! നിങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം] യുക്തിജ്ഞനും, എല്ലാമറിയുന്നവനില് നിന്നുമാണ് നിങ്ങള് ഈ ഖുര്ആന് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നത്.
إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًۭا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍۢ قَبَسٍۢ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ﴿٧﴾
LO! (While lost in the desert,] Moses said to his family: "Behold, I perceive a fire (far away]; I may bring you from there some tiding [as to which way we are to pursue], or bring you tat least] a burning brand so that you might warm yourselves."
ഓ! [മരുഭൂമിയില് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള്] മോശെ തന്റെ കുടുംബത്തോട് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം:’നിശ്ചയം, [ദൂരെ] ഞാനൊരു തീനാളം കാണുന്നു; [നാമെങ്ങോട്ടാണ് പോകേണ്ടത് എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള] ചില വാര്ത്തകള് അവിടെ നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കെത്തിക്കാന് എനിക്കു സാധിച്ചേക്കാം, അല്ലെങ്കില് ഒരു കത്തുന്ന വിറക് [എങ്കിലും] എത്തിക്കാം, നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ചൂട് ലഭിക്കാനായി’
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿٨﴾
But when he came close to it, a call was sounded: "Blessed are all who are within [reach of] this fire, and all who are near it! And limitless in His glory is God, the Sustainer of all the worlds!"
എന്നാല് അദ്ദേഹം അതിനോടടുത്ത് വന്നപ്പോള്, ഒരു വിളംബരം കേള്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു: ‘ഈ തീയുടെ അകത്തുള്ളവരും അതിനടുത്തുള്ളവരുമായ എല്ലാവരും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു! ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രകീര്ത്തി പരിധികളില്ലാത്തതാണ്, പ്രപഞ്ചങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്!’
يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ﴿٩﴾
[And God spoke thus:] "O Moses! Verily, I alone am God, the Almighty, the Wise!"
[ദൈവം പറഞ്ഞു:]’മോശെ, നിശ്ചയം, ഞാനാകുന്നു ദൈവം, സര്വ്വശക്തന്, യുക്തിമാന് ‘
وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّۭ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًۭا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ﴿١٠﴾
[And then He said:] "Now throw down thy staff!" But when he saw it move rapidly, as if it were a serpent, he drew back [in terror], and did not [dare to] return. [And God spoke to him again:] "O Moses! Fear not for, behold, no fear need the message- bearers have in My Presence,
[പിന്നീടവന് പറഞ്ഞു]: ‘നിന്റെ വടി താഴെയിടുക!’ ഒരു സര്പ്പത്തെ പ്പോലെ അത് വേഗത്തില് ചലിക്കുന്നത് അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ടപ്പോള് [ഭയപ്പാടോടെ] അദ്ദേഹം പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു, തിരിച്ചുവരാന് [ധൈര്യം] ഇല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ [ദൈവം അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് പറഞ്ഞു] ‘മോശെ, ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട, നമ്മുടെ പക്കല് ദൈവദൂതന്മാര് ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതില്ല.
إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًۢا بَعْدَ سُوٓءٍۢ فَإِنِّى غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿١١﴾
and neither need anyone who has done wrong and then has replaced the wrong with good: for, verily, I am much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!
തിന്മ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് നന്മ കൊണ്ട് തിന്മയെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കിയവരെ ഒഴികെ, നിശ്ചയം, നാം ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും, കാരുണ്യം ചൊരിയുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു
وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍۢ ۖ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا فَٰسِقِينَ﴿١٢﴾
"Now place thy hand into thy bosom: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish! "[And thou shalt go] with nine [of My] messages unto Pharaoh and his people - for, verily, they are people depraved!"
‘നിന്റെ കൈ ഹൃദയത്തില് ചേര്ത്ത് വെക്കുക: അത് [തെളിച്ചമുള്ള] ധവളരൂപത്തില് കാണപ്പെടും, ദോഷമൊന്നുമില്ലാതെ! [നമ്മുടെ] ഒന്പത് സന്ദേശങ്ങളുമായി [താങ്കള്] ഫറോവയുടെയും കൂട്ടാളികളുടെയും അടുത്ത് [പോവുക]- നിശ്ചയം, അവരാകുന്നു തെമ്മാടികള്!’
فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةًۭ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿١٣﴾
But when Our light-giving messages came unto them, they said, "This is clearly [but] spellbinding deception!" 14
എന്നാല് നമ്മുടെ പ്രകാശപൂര്ണമായ സന്ദേശങ്ങള് അവരിലേക്കെത്തിയപ്പോള്, അവര് പറഞ്ഞു, ‘വ്യക്തമായും ഇത് വശീകരിക്കുന്ന ജാലവിദ്യ [മാത്രം] ആണ്!’
وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًۭا وَعُلُوًّۭا ۚ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ﴿١٤﴾
- and in their wickedness and self-exaltation they rejected them, although their minds were convinced of their truth: and behold what happened in the end to those spreaders of corruption!
അവരുടെ അക്രമത്താലും അഹംഭാവത്താലും അവയെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു, എന്നാല് അവയിലെ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യത്തെ അവര്ക്ക് ബോധ്യമായിരുന്നു: നിശ്ചയം, കുഴപ്പങ്ങളുണ്ടാക്കുന്നവരുടെ അന്ത്യം എങ്ങനെയാണെന്ന് കാണുക!
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ عِلْمًۭا ۖ وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍۢ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿١٥﴾
AND, INDEED, We granted [true] knowledge unto David and Solomon [as well]; and both were wont to say: "All praise is due to God, who has [thusj favoured us above many of His believing servants!"
നിശ്ചയം, ദാവീദിനും സോളമനും നാം [യഥാര്ത്ഥ] ജ്ഞാനം നല്കി; അവര് പറഞ്ഞു:’എല്ലാ വാഴ്ത്തുകളും ദൈവത്തിനാകുന്നു, അവന്റെ വിശ്വാസികളായ അടിമകളെക്കാള് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ശ്രേഷ്ഠത നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു!’
وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَٰنُ دَاوُۥدَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ ٱلطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْمُبِينُ﴿١٦﴾
And [in this insight] Solomon was [truly] David's heir; and he would say: "O you people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and have been given [in abundance] of all [good] things: this, behold, is indeed a manifest favour [from God]!"
[ഈ ഉള്ക്കാഴ്ച്ചയില്] സോളമന് [പൂര്ണമായും] ദാവീദിന്റെ അനന്തരാവകാശിയായിരുന്നു; അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ‘ജനങ്ങളെ. നമുക്ക് പക്ഷികളുടെ സംസാരം പഠിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, എല്ലാ [നല്ല] കാര്യങ്ങളും [സമൃദ്ധമായി] നല്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു: നിശ്ചയം, ഇതാകുന്നു [ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള] പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ അനുഗ്രഹം!’
وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ﴿١٧﴾
And [one day] there were assembled before Solomon his hosts of invisible ~ and of men, and of birds; and then they were led forth in orderly ranks,
[ഒരുനാള്] സോളമനു മുന്നില് അദൃശ്യ ശക്തികളുടെയും മനുഷ്യരുടെയും, പക്ഷികളുടെയും സൈന്യം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടപ്പെട്ടു; പിന്നീടവരെ യഥാവിധി ക്രമീകരിച്ചു
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌۭ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَٰكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴿١٨﴾
till, when they came upon a valley [full] of ants, an ant exclaimed: "O you ants! Get into your dwellings, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you without [even] being aware [of you]!"
ഉറുമ്പുകള് [നിറഞ്ഞ] കുന്നിന് പ്രദേശത്തുകൂടി അവര് വന്നപ്പോള്, ഒരുറുമ്പ് പറഞ്ഞു: ‘ഉറുമ്പുകളെ! നിങ്ങളുടെ മാളങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പോവുക, [നിങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി] അറിയാതെ സോളമനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സൈന്യവും നിങ്ങളെ ചവിട്ടി മെതിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ!’
فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًۭا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَٰلِحًۭا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ﴿١٩﴾
Thereupon [Solomon] smiled joyously at her words, and said: "O my Sustainer! Inspire me so that I may forever be grateful for those blessings of Thine with which Thou hast graced me and my parents, and that I may do what is right [in a manner] that will please Thee; and include me, by Thy grace, among Thy righteous servants!"
അപ്പോള് [സോളമന്] സന്തോഷപൂര്വ്വം അതിന്റെ വാക്കുകളോട് പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു, എന്നിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞു: ‘എന്റെ നാഥാ! നീ എനിക്കും എന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കള്ക്കും നല്കിയ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങള്ക്ക് നന്ദികാണിക്കാനായി എനിക്കവസരം നല്കേണമേ, അങ്ങനെ നിനക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട നന്മകള് എനിക്ക് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കാന് കഴിയും; നിന്റെ അപാരമായ കാരുണ്യത്താല് എന്നെ നിന്റെ സന്മാര്ഗികളായ ദാസരില് ഉള്പ്പെടുത്തേണമേ!
وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ﴿٢٠﴾
And [one day] he looked in vain for [a particular one of] the birds; and so he said: "How is it that I do not see the hoopoe? Or could he be among the absent?
[ഒരിക്കല്] പക്ഷികളെ [ഒരു പ്രത്യേക കിളിയെ] അദ്ദേഹം പരിശോധിച്ചു; എന്നിട്ടദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ‘എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഞാന് ഹുദ്ഹുദിനെ കാണാത്തത്? അല്ലെങ്കില് അത് അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായോ?’
