അല് ഖസ്വസ്വ് · Surah 28 of 114 · 88 verses · Makkah
طسٓمٓ﴿١﴾
Ta. Sin. Mim.
താ. സീന്. മീം
تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ﴿٢﴾
THESE ARE MESSAGES of a divine writ clear in itself and clearly showing the truth.
സ്വയം വ്യക്തമായതും സത്യത്തെ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നതുമായ ദൈവിക ഗ്രന്ഥത്തില് നിന്നുമുള്ള സന്ദേശങ്ങളാകുന്നു ഇത്
نَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿٣﴾
We [now] convey unto thee some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of] people who will believe.
[ഇപ്പോള്] നാം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് മോശെയുടെയും ഫറവോന്റെയും കഥയില് ചിലത് അറിയിച്ചു തരികയാണ്, വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് അതില് സത്യസന്ദേശങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًۭا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةًۭ مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ﴿٤﴾
Behold, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and divided its people into castes. One group of them he deemed utterly low; he would slaughter their sons and spare [only] their women: for, behold, he was one of those who spread corruption [on earth].
നിശ്ചയം, ഫറവോന് ഭൂമിയില് സ്വയം മേനി നടിക്കുകയും തന്റെ ജനങ്ങളെ ശ്രേണീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവരില് ഒരുവിഭാഗത്തെ അയാള് അത്യധികം താഴ്ന്നവരാക്കി; അവരിലെ ആണ്മക്കളെ അയാള് കൊന്നുകളയുകയും സ്ത്രീകളെ [മാത്രം] ജീവിക്കാന് വിടുകയും ചെയ്തു, നിശ്ചയം, [ഭൂമിയില്] കുഴപ്പങ്ങളുണ്ടാക്കിയവനാകുന്നു അയാള്
وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ﴿٥﴾
But it was Our will to bestow Our favour upon those [very people] who were deemed [so] utterly low in the land, and to make them forerunners in faith, and to make them heirs [to Pharaoh's glory],
എന്നാല് ഭൂമിയില് അധഃകൃതരായ [ആളുകള്ക്ക്] മേല് ഔദാര്യം കാണിക്കാന് നാം ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു, അങ്ങനെ അവരെ വിശ്വാസത്തില് മുന്തിച്ചവരും, അവരെ [ഫറോവയുടെ] അനന്തരവരാക്കാനും
وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ﴿٦﴾
and to establish them securely on earth, and to let Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts experience through those [children of Israel] the very thing against which they sought to protect themselves.
അവരെ ഭൂമിയില് സൂരക്ഷിതമായി സംസ്ഥാപിക്കാനും, ഫറവോനും ഹാമാനും അവരുടെ സംഘങ്ങള്ക്കും അവര് സ്വയം ആശങ്കപ്പെടുന്നതെന്തോ [ഇസ്രായേല് സന്തതികളിലൂടെ] അത് അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കാനും.
وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ ۖ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ ۖ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿٧﴾
And so, [when he was born,] We inspired [thus] the mother of Moses: "Suckle him [for a time], and then, when thou hast cause to fear for him. cast him into the river, and have no fear and do not grieve - for We shall restore him to thee, and shall make him one of Our message-bearers!"
[അദ്ദേഹം ജനിച്ചപ്പോള്] നാം മോശെയുടെ മാതാവിന് വെളിപാട് നല്കി: ‘[ഒരു സമയം വരെ] അവനെ മുലയൂട്ടുക, പിന്നീട്, നീ അവനെയോര്ത്ത് ഭയപ്പെടുകയാണെങ്കില്, അവനെ പുഴയില് ഒഴുക്കുക, ഭയപ്പെടുകയോ ദുഃഖിക്കുകയോ വേണ്ട- നാം നിന്നിലേക്ക് അവനെ തിരികെ എത്തിക്കും, അവനെ നമ്മുടെ സന്ദേശവാഹകരില് ഉള്പ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.!’
فَٱلْتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّۭا وَحَزَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا۟ خَٰطِـِٔينَ﴿٨﴾
And [some of] Pharaoh's household found [and spared] him: for [We had willed] that he become an enemy unto them and [a source of grief, seeing that Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts were sinners indeed!
ഫറവോന്റെ വീട്ടുകാരില് [ചിലര്] അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തി: അവന് അവരുടെ ശത്രുവും ദുഃഖ കാരണവുമാവാന് [നാം ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു], നിശ്ചയം, ഫറവോനും ഹാമാനും അവരുടെ ആളുകളും തെറ്റുചെയ്തവരില് പെട്ടവര് തന്നെയാണ്!
وَقَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍۢ لِّى وَلَكَ ۖ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدًۭا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴿٩﴾
Now the wife of Pharaoh said: "A joy to the eye [could this child be] for me and thee! Slay him not: he may well be of use to us, or we may adopt him as a son!" And they had no presentiment [of what he was to become].
ഫറവോന്റെ പത്നി പറഞ്ഞു: ‘എനിക്കും താങ്കള്ക്കും [ഈ കുഞ്ഞ്] കണ്കുളിര്മ നല്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു! അവനെ കൊന്നുകളയരുത്: അവന് നമുക്ക് ഉപകാരമുള്ളവനാകാം, അല്ലെങ്കില് നമുക്ക് അവനെ മകനായി ദത്തെടുക്കാം!’ [അവന് ആരാകുമായിരുന്നു എന്ന്] അവര് മുന്കൂട്ടി അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.
وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَٰرِغًا ۖ إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِى بِهِۦ لَوْلَآ أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿١٠﴾
On the morrow, however, an aching void grew up in the heart of the mother of Moses, and she would indeed have disclosed all about him had We not endowed her heart with enough strength to keep alive her faith [in Our promise].
മോശെയുടെ മാതാവിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് അസ്വാസ്ഥ്യം വളര്ന്നു, അവനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവര് എല്ലാം തുറന്ന് പറയുമായിരുന്നു, [നമ്മുടെ വാഗ്ദാനത്തിലുള്ള] വിശ്വാസത്തെ മുറുകെ പ്പിടിക്കാനുള്ള ശേഷി നാം അവര്ക്ക് നല്കിയിരുന്നില്ലായെങ്കില്. അവര് സത്യവിശ്വാസിനി ആകുവാനായി.
وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِ ۖ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴿١١﴾
And so she said to his sister, "Follow him" - and [the girl] watched him from afar, while they [who had taken him in] were not aware of it.
അവര് അവരുടെ സഹോദരിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു, ‘അവനെ പിന്തുടരുക’- [പെണ്കുട്ടി] അവനെ ദൂരെ നിന്നും നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു, [അവനെ വളര്ത്തുന്നവര്] അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.
۞ وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍۢ يَكْفُلُونَهُۥ لَكُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُۥ نَٰصِحُونَ﴿١٢﴾
Now from the very beginning We caused him to refuse the breast of [Egyptian] nurses; and [when his sister came to know this,] she said: "Shall I gutde you to a family that might rear him for you, and look after him with good will?"
[ഈജിപ്ത്യന്] മുലയൂട്ടുന്നവരുടെ മുലപ്പാല് നാം ആദ്യമേ അവന് വിലക്കിയിരുന്നു; [അവന്റെ സഹോദരി അത് അറിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്], അവള് പറഞ്ഞു: ‘നിങ്ങള്ക്കായി അവനെ വളര്ത്താന് കഴിയുന്ന ഒരു കുടുംബത്തെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കാണിച്ചു തരട്ടേ, അവരെ നല്ല നിലയില് സംരക്ഷിക്കാനും?’
فَرَدَدْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّهِۦ كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّۭ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿١٣﴾
And thus We restored him to his mother, so that her eye might be gladdened, and that she might grieve no longer, and that she might know that God's promise always comes true - even though most of them know it not!
അങ്ങനെ നാം അവന്റെ തന്റെ മാതാവിനടുത്തേക്ക് തിരിച്ചെത്തിച്ചു, അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകള് കുളിര്മയുള്ളതാകാനായി, അവര് ഇനി ദുഃഖിക്കാതിരിക്കാനുമായി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വാഗ്ദാനം എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും പുലരുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും എന്ന് അവര് അറിയാനുമായി- അവരില് ഭൂരിഭാഗം പേരും അത് അറിയുന്നില്ല!
وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَٱسْتَوَىٰٓ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ حُكْمًۭا وَعِلْمًۭا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿١٤﴾
NOW WHEN [Moses] reached full manhood and had become mature [of mind], We bestowed upon him the ability to judge (between right and wrong] as well as [innatel knowledge: for thus do We reward the doers of good.
മോശെ] വളര്ന്ന് കരുത്തനാവുകയും [മാനസികമായി] പക്വത നേടുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള്, [തെറ്റും ശരിയും വേര്തിരിച്ച്] തീരുമാനമെടുക്കാനുള്ള ശേഷിയും [ആന്തരിക] ജ്ഞാനവും നല്കി: നല്ലതു ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്ക് നാം പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നു.
وَدَخَلَ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍۢ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ وَهَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ ۖ فَٱسْتَغَٰثَهُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَوَكَزَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّضِلٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿١٥﴾
And (one day] he entered the city at a time when [most of] its people were [resting in their houses,] unaware of what was going on [in the streets]; and there he encountered two men fighting with one another - one of his own people, and the other of his enemies. And the one who belonged to his own people cried out to him for help against him who was of his enemies - whereupon Moses struck him down with his fist, and [thus] brought about his end. [But then] he said [to himself]: "This is of Satan's doing! Verily, he is an open foe, leading [man] astray!"
[ഒരിക്കല്] ജനങ്ങളില് [അധികപേരും] [വീടുകളിലായിരിക്കുകയും] [തെരുവില്] എന്താണ് സംഭവിക്കുന്നത് എന്നതില് അശ്രദ്ധരായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു; അപ്പോള് പരസ്പരം പോരടിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടുപേരെ അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ടുമുട്ടി- ഒന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വന്തം ജനതയില് പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നു, മറ്റേത് തന്റെ ശത്രു വിഭാഗത്തില് പെട്ടവനും. ശത്രുവിനെതിരെ തന്നെ സഹായിക്കാനായി തന്റെ ജനതയില് പെട്ടവന് കരഞ്ഞ് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു- അപ്പോള് മോശെ തന്റെ മുഷ്ടികൊണ്ടിടിച്ചപ്പോള്, [അപ്പോള്] അയാളുടെ അന്ത്യമായി അത്. [എന്നാല് അപ്പോള്] അദ്ദേഹം [സ്വയം] പറഞ്ഞു: ‘ഇത് സാത്താന്റെ ചെയ്തിയാവുന്നു! നിശ്ചയം, അവന് പ്രത്യക്ഷ ശത്രുവാകുന്നു, [മനുഷ്യനെ] വഴിപിഴപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്!
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى فَٱغْفِرْ لِى فَغَفَرَ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿١٦﴾
[And] he prayed: O my Sustainer! Verily, I have sinned against myself! Grant me, then, Thy forgiveness!" And He forgave him - for, verily, He alone is truly forgiving, a dispenser of grace.
അദ്ദേഹം പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചു: എന്റെ നാഥാ! ഞാന് സ്വയം പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു! എനിക്ക് മാപ്പ് നല്കുക!’ അങ്ങനെ അവന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് മാപ്പു നല്കി-നിശ്ചയം, അവന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു യഥാര്ത്ഥത്തില് മാപ്പു നല്കുന്നവന്, കാരുണ്യം ചൊരിയുന്നവനും.
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًۭا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿١٧﴾
Said he: "O my Sustainer! [I vow] by all the blessings which Thou hast bestowed on me: Nevermore shall I aid such as are lost in sin!"
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ‘എന്റെ നാഥാ! നീ എനിക്ക് എല്ലാ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളും ഏകിയിരിക്കുന്നു, അതിനാല്, ഞാനൊരിക്കലും കുറ്റക്കാരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയില്ല
فَأَصْبَحَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ خَآئِفًۭا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَنصَرَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُۥ ۚ قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّكَ لَغَوِىٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿١٨﴾
And next morning he found himself in the city, looking fearfully about him, when lo! the one who had sought his help the day before [once again] cried out to him [for help - whereupon] Moses said unto him: "Behold, thou art indeed, most clearly, deeply in the wrong!"
അടുത്ത ദിവസം അദ്ദേഹം നഗരത്തില് പ്രവേശിച്ചു, സ്വയം ഭയപ്പാടോടെ, അപ്പോഴതാ തലേന്നാള് തന്നോട് സഹായം ചോദിച്ചവന് [ഒരിക്കല് കൂടി] [സഹായത്തിനായി] കരയുന്നു-[അപ്പോള്] അവനോട് മോശെ പറഞ്ഞു; ‘നിശ്ചയം, നീയാകുന്നു വ്യക്തമായും വഴികേടിലകപ്പെട്ടവന്!’
فَلَمَّآ أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ عَدُوٌّۭ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِى كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًۢا بِٱلْأَمْسِ ۖ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُصْلِحِينَ﴿١٩﴾
But then, as soon as he was about to lay violent hands on the man who was their [common] enemy, the latter exclaimed: "O Moses, dost thou intend to slay me as thou didst slay another man yesterday? Thy sole aim is to become a tyrant in this land, for thou dost not care to be of those who would set things to rights!"
എന്നാല്, അവരിരുവരുടെയും [പൊതു] ശത്രുവിനെ പിടികൂടാന് അദ്ദേഹം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചപ്പോള്, മറ്റെയാള് പറഞ്ഞു; ‘മോശെ, ഇന്നലെ ഒരാളെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയത് പോലെ എന്നെയും കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണോ? ഈ ദേശത്തെ സ്വേഛാധികാരിയാവാനാണ് നീ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്, നീ നന്മ പുലര്ത്താന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നില്ല!’
وَجَآءَ رَجُلٌۭ مِّنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱلْمَلَأَ يَأْتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقْتُلُوكَ فَٱخْرُجْ إِنِّى لَكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ﴿٢٠﴾
And [then and there] a man came running from the farthermost end of the city, and said: "O Moses! Behold, the great ones [of the kingdom] are deliberating upon thy case with a view to killing thee! Begone, then: verily, I am of those who wish thee well!"
[അപ്പോള് അവിടേക്ക്] നഗരത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നും ഓടിവന്നുകൊണ്ട് പറഞ്ഞു: ‘മോശെ, നിശ്ചയം, [രാജ്യത്തെ] പ്രമുഖര് താങ്കളെ കൊലപ്പെുടുത്താനുദ്ധേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ആസുത്രണങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്, അതിനാല് പുറത്തേക്ക് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു പോയിക്കൊള്ക, നിശ്ചയം, ഞാന് താങ്കളുടെ ഗുണകാംക്ഷകരില് പെട്ടവനാകുന്നു
