യാസീന് · Surah 36 of 114 · 83 verses · Makkah
يسٓ﴿١﴾
O THOU human being!
ഹേ മനുഷ്യാ!
وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ﴿٢﴾
Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom:
വിജ്ഞാനം നിറഞ്ഞ ഈ ഖുര്ആനാണെ:
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿٣﴾
verily, thou att indeed one of God's message-bearers,
നിശ്ചയമായും, നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്ദേശവാഹകരിലൊരാളാകുന്നു,
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ﴿٤﴾
pursuing a straight way
നേരായ പാത സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നവന്,
تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ﴿٥﴾
by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace,
പരമശക്തനും കാരുണ്യവാനുമായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നും ഇറക്കപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ (നന്മയാല്)
لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًۭا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَٰفِلُونَ﴿٦﴾
[bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong].
(അത് നിനക്ക് മേല് ഇറക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു) എന്തെന്നാല്, അതുകൊണ്ട് നീ ആളുകള്ക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കുക, അവരുടെ പൂര്വപിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവര് (ശരിയുടയെും തെറ്റിന്റെയും അര്ത്ഥങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി) അജ്ഞരാകുന്നു.
لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿٧﴾
Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe.
തീര്ച്ചയായും, (ദൈവ ശാപത്തിന്റെ) വാക്കുകള് അവര്ക്ക് മേല് സത്യമാകാനൊരുങ്ങുകയാണ് : എന്തെന്നാല് അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلًۭا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ﴿٨﴾
Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up;
നോക്കുക, നാം അവരുടെ കഴുത്തുകളില് വിലങ്ങുകളണിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു,അത് അവരുടെ താടിയെല്ലുകളില് വരെ എത്തുന്നുണ്ട്, അതിനാല് അവരുടെ തലകള് ഉയര്ത്താന് അവര് നിര്ബന്ധിതരായിരിക്കുകയാണ്;
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّۭا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّۭا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ﴿٩﴾
and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see:
നാം അവര്ക്ക് മുന്നിലും അവരുടെ പിന്നിലും തടസ്സങ്ങള് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, അവര് ഒരിക്കലും കാണാതിരിക്കാന് വേണ്ടി മൂടുപടങ്ങളാല് അവരെ പൊതിയുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു:
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿١٠﴾
thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe.
അങ്ങനെ, നീ അവര്ക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കിയാലും നല്കിയിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും അവര്ക്ക് ഒരുപോലെയാണ്, അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയില്ല.
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍۢ وَأَجْرٍۢ كَرِيمٍ﴿١١﴾
Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward.
ഈ മുന്നറിയിപ്പിനെ ഹൃദയത്തോട് ചേര്ത്ത് വെക്കാന് തയ്യാറായവര്ക്ക് മാത്രമെ നിനക്ക് (യഥാര്ത്ഥത്തില്) മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കാന് കഴിയുകയുള്ളു,അതുപോലെത്തന്നെ, മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഗ്രാഹ്യശേഷിക്കപ്പുറത്താണെങ്കിലും ഏറ്റവും കരുണാനിധിയായ അല്ലാഹുവിനോടുള്ള ഭയഭക്തിയില് നില്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാവും അവര്: അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ആളുകള്ക്ക്, പാപമുക്തിയുടെയും ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച പ്രതിഫലത്തിന്റെയും സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ﴿١٢﴾
Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear.
നിശ്ചയമായും, നാം മരണപ്പെട്ടവരെയെല്ലാം പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും; അവര് മുമ്പെ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളതെല്ലാം (എല്ലാ പ്രവൃത്തികളും) നാം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതുമാണ്, അവര് ബാക്കിവെച്ച് പോയ (നന്മയുടെയും തിന്മയുടെയും) അടയാളങ്ങളും നാം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തും: അങ്ങനെ എല്ലാം സംഗതികളും നാം വ്യക്തമായ രേഖയിലുള്പ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാകുന്നു.
وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ﴿١٣﴾
AND SET FORTH unto them a parable - [the story of how] the people of a township [behaved] when [Our] message-bearers came unto them.
അവരുടെ മുന്നിലേക്ക് ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്ത കഥ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക- ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിലെ ആളുകള് (എങ്ങനെയാണ്) (നമ്മുടെ) സന്ദേശവാഹകര് അവരിലേക്കെത്തിയപ്പോള് (പെരുമാറിയത് എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള കഥ).
إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍۢ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ﴿١٤﴾
Lo! We sent unto them two [apostles], and they gave the lie to both; and so We strengthened [the two] with a third; and thereupon they said: "Behold, we have been sent unto you [by God]!"
നാം അവരിലേക്ക് രണ്ട് ദൂതന്മാരെ അയക്കുകയുണ്ടായി, അവരെ രണ്ടുപേരെയും അവര് തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു: അങ്ങനെ നാം ഒരു മൂന്നാമനെ കൂടെ അയച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവരെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തി; അങ്ങനെ അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: “നോക്കുക, അല്ലാഹുവാണ് ഞങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളിലേക്ക് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്”!
قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ﴿١٥﴾
[The others] answered: "You are nothing but mortal men like ourselves; moreover, the Most Gracious has never bestowed aught [of revelation] from on high. You do nothing but lie !"
(മറ്റുള്ളവര്) മറുപടി നല്കി: “നിങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോ ലെ മനുഷ്യന്മാരല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരുമല്ല; മാത്രവുമല്ല ഏറ്റവും കരുണാനിധിയായ അല്ലാഹുവാകട്ടെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്ക് യാതൊരുവിധ സന്ദേശവും മുകളില് നിന്നും ഇറക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. നിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നത് കളവല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല!”
قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ﴿١٦﴾
Said [the apostles]: "Our Sustainer knows that we have indeed been sent unto you;
അപ്പോള് (ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാര്) പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളിലേക്ക് തന്നെയാണ് അയച്ചതെന്ന് ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന് വ്യക്തമായും അറിയാം;
وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ﴿١٧﴾
but we are not bound to do more than clearly deliver the message [entrusted to us]."
(ഞങ്ങളില് ഏല്പ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട) സന്ദേശം വളരെ വ്യക്തമായി എത്തിക്കുക എന്നതിലപ്പുറം ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേറെ കര്ത്തവ്യങ്ങളൊന്നുമല്ല.
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿١٨﴾
Said [the others]: "Truly, we augur evil from you! Indeed, if you desist not, we will surely stone you, and grievous suffering is bound to befall you at our hands!"
അപ്പോള് (മറ്റുള്ളവര്) പറഞ്ഞു: “സത്യമായും, നിങ്ങളില് ഞങ്ങള് ദുശ്ശകുനമാണ് കാണുന്നത്! നിശ്ചയമായും, നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളില് നിന്നും സ്വയം വിരമിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്, നിങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങള് കല്ലെറിയും, അതുപോലെ അത്യന്തം വേദനാജനകമായ ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങള് അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടി വരികയും ചെയ്യും!”
قَالُوا۟ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌۭ مُّسْرِفُونَ﴿١٩﴾
[The apostles] replied: "Your destiny, good or evil, is [bound up] with yourselves! [Does it seem evil to you] if you are told to take [the truth] to heart? Nay, but you are people who have wasted their own selves!"
അപ്പോള് (ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാര്) മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: “നിങ്ങളുടെ വിധി, അത് നന്മയായിക്കോട്ടെ തിന്മയായിക്കോട്ടെ, അത് നിങ്ങളുമായി തന്നെയാണ് ചേര്ന്ന് കിടക്കുന്നത്!നിങ്ങളോട് (സത്യത്തെ) വിശ്വസിക്കാന് പറഞ്ഞത് (നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ദുശ്ശകുനമായാണോ തോന്നുന്നത്?) അല്ല, നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതം തന്നെ വഴികേടിലാക്കിയവരാകുന്നു!”
وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌۭ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿٢٠﴾
At that, a man came running from the farthest end of the city, [and] exclaimed: "O my people! Follow these message-bearers!
അപ്പോള്, നഗരത്തിന്റെ വിദൂരമായ ഒരറ്റത്തുനിന്നും ഒരാള് ഓടിവന്നു, (എന്നിട്ട്) ഇങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു: “ഹേ, എന്റെ ജനങ്ങളെ, ഈ സന്ദേശവാഹകരെ നിങ്ങള് പിന്പറ്റുക!
