അസ്സ്വാഫ്ഫാത്ത് · Surah 37 of 114 · 182 verses · Makkah
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا﴿١﴾
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks,
നിങ്ങൾ പരിചിന്തനം ചെയ്യുക, നിരനിരയായി അണിനിരത്തപ്പെട്ട ഈ (സന്ദേശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച്),
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًۭا﴿٢﴾
and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint,
(തെറ്റുകളിൽ നിന്നും) സ്വയം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനുള്ള വിളിക്കുത്തരം നല്കി നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച്,
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا﴿٣﴾
and conveying [to all the world a reminder:
(ലോകത്തിന് മുഴുവൻ) മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച്,
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ﴿٤﴾
Verily, most surely, your God is One -
നിശ്ചയമായും, നിങ്ങളുടെ നാഥൻ ഏകനാകുന്നു-
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ﴿٥﴾
the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise!
വാന-ഭുവനങ്ങളുടെയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളവയുടെയും സകല ഉദയസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെയും ഉടമസ്ഥൻ!
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ﴿٦﴾
Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars,
നോക്കുക, സമീപവാനത്തെ താരശോഭയാൽ നാം അലംകൃതമാക്കി.
وَحِفْظًۭا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّارِدٍۢ﴿٧﴾
and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force,
അവയെ ധിക്കാരികളായ ചെകുത്താന്മാരിൽ നിന്നും സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍۢ﴿٨﴾
[so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides,
(അതിനാൽ, അറിയാനാവാത്തതിനെ അറിയാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന) അവർക്ക് അത്യുന്നത സഭയിലെ വാർത്തകൾ ഒന്നും കേൾക്കാനാവുകയില്ല. അവർ എല്ലാ വശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും തിരിച്ചോടിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
دُحُورًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ وَاصِبٌ﴿٩﴾
cast out [from all grace], with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come];
എല്ലാ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്താക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, (വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിൽ ) അവർക്ക് നിലക്കാത്ത ശിക്ഷയുമുണ്ട്;
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ ثَاقِبٌۭ﴿١٠﴾
but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame.
എന്നാൽ ആരെങ്കിലും (ഈ വിജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ നിന്നും) വല്ലതും റാഞ്ചുകയാണെങ്കിൽ തീക്ഷ്ണമായ ജ്വാല അവനെ പിന്തുടരുന്നതാണ്.
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍۢ لَّازِبٍۭ﴿١١﴾
AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water!'
ഇനി അവരോട് (സത്യം നിഷേധിക്കുന്നവരോട്) ചോദിക്കുക: അവരുടെ സൃഷ്ടിയാണോ കടുപ്പം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നാം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുവെച്ച (ഒരുപാട് പറയപ്പെടാത്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളുടെ) സൃഷ്ടിയോ? എന്തെന്നാൽ നോക്കുക, അവരെ നാം നനഞ്ഞൊട്ടുന്ന (കേവലമായ) കളിമണ്ണിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത്!”
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ﴿١٢﴾
Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff;
അല്ല, നീ ഇത് കണ്ട് അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ, അവർ അതിനെ അവഹേളിക്കുക മാത്രമേ ചെയ്യുന്നുള്ളൂ;
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ﴿١٣﴾
and when they are reminded [of the truth]; they refuse to take it to heart;
അവരോട് സത്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഓർമപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ, അവർ അത് വിശ്വസിക്കാൻ വിസമ്മതിക്കും;
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ﴿١٤﴾
and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule
അങ്ങനെ അവർ ദിവ്യമായ സന്ദേശത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയുമ്പോൾ, അവർ അതിനെ പരിഹാസവസ്തുവാക്കി മാറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ﴿١٥﴾
and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence!
അവർ എന്നിട്ട് പറയും: “ഇത് (ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ) വ്യക്തമായ ആഭിചാരമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല"
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ﴿١٦﴾
Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? -
നമ്മൾ മരിച്ച് എല്ലും പൊടിയുമായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, ഞങ്ങൾ മരണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വീണ്ടും ഉയർത്തപ്പെടും എന്നാണോ?
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ﴿١٧﴾
and perhaps also our forebears of old?"
അത് പോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവപിതാക്കന്മാരും ഉയർത്തപ്പെടും എന്നോ?
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ﴿١٨﴾
Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" -
പറയുക: “നിശ്ചയമായും, നിങ്ങളന്ന് ഏറ്റവും അധമരായിരിക്കും!” -
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ﴿١٩﴾
for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth]
അത് ഒരൊറ്റ ഗർജനം മാത്രം. അന്ന് (അവർ അത് വരെ നിന്ദിച്ചിരുന്ന പുനരുത്ഥാനം) പെട്ടെന്നതാ അവർ സ്വന്തം കണ്ണുകളാൽ കാണുന്നു.
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ﴿٢٠﴾
and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!"
എന്നിട്ടവരിങ്ങനെ പറയും: “ഓ! ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൗർഭാഗ്യം!! ഇത് വിധി ദിനമാണല്ലോ!!”
