അദ്ദാരിയാത്ത് · Surah 51 of 114 · 60 verses · Makkah
وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا﴿١﴾
CONSIDER the winds that scatter the dust far and
പൊടിപടലങ്ങൾ വിതറുന്ന കാറ്റുകളെയും
فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًۭا﴿٢﴾
and those that carry the burden [of heavy clouds],
ഭാരമേറിയ (കനത്ത മേഘങ്ങളുടെ) ഭാരം വഹിക്കുന്നവയെയും
فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًۭا﴿٣﴾
and those that speed along with gentle ease,
സുഗമമായി വേഗത്തിൽ ഒഴുകിനീങ്ങുന്ന കാറ്റുകളെയും
فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا﴿٤﴾
and those that apportion [the gift of life] at [God's] behest!'
(ദൈവത്തിന്റെ) കൽപനപ്രകാരം (ജീവിതാനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ) പങ്കിടുന്നവയെയും പരിഗണിക്കുക!
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌۭ﴿٥﴾
Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed,
തീർച്ചയായും, നിങ്ങളോട് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന കാര്യം തികച്ചും സത്യമാണ്.
وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ﴿٦﴾
and, verily, judgment is bound to come!
തീർച്ചയായും, ന്യായവിധി വരികതന്നെ ചെയ്യും.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ﴿٧﴾
CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths!
നക്ഷത്രപഥങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ആകാശം പരിഗണിക്കുക!
إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍۢ مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ﴿٨﴾
Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe:
തീർച്ചയായും, മനുഷ്യരേ, നിങ്ങൾ എന്ത് വിശ്വസിക്കണം എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് കടുത്ത ഭിന്നതയിലാണ്.
يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ﴿٩﴾
perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself!
സ്വയം വഞ്ചിതനാകാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ മാത്രമാണ് ഇതിൽ (സത്യത്തിൽ) നിന്ന് തെറ്റിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്!
قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ﴿١٠﴾
They but destroy themselves, they who are given to guessing at what they cannot ascertain -
തങ്ങൾക്ക് തിട്ടപ്പെടുത്താൻ കഴിയാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഊഹിച്ചു പറയുന്നവർ സ്വയം നശിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്.
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ سَاهُونَ﴿١١﴾
they who blunder along, in ignorance lost
തങ്ങളുടെ അജ്ഞതയിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി അന്ധമായി ഉഴലുന്നവരാണവർ.
يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ﴿١٢﴾
they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?"
അവർ പരിഹാസത്തോടെ ചോദിക്കുന്നു, 'എപ്പോഴാണ് ആ ന്യായവിധിയുടെ ദിവസം വരിക?' എന്ന്.
يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ﴿١٣﴾
[It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire,
അവർ നരകാഗ്നിയാൽ എരിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന നാളിലാകുന്നു അത് വന്നെത്തുക.
ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ﴿١٤﴾
[and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!"
അവരോട് പറയപ്പെടും: 'നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക! ഇതിനുവേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നല്ലോ നിങ്ങൾ ധൃതികൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നത്!
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ﴿١٥﴾
[But,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves amid gardens and springs,
എന്നാൽ, സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവർ അന്ന് ഉദ്യാനങ്ങളിലും അരുവികളിലുമായിരിക്കും.
ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ﴿١٦﴾
enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because], verily, they were doers of good in the past:
തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥൻ നൽകിയ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ആസ്വദിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്. തീർച്ചയായും, അവർ അതിനുമുമ്പ് സുകൃതരായിരുന്നു.
كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ﴿١٧﴾
they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night,
അവർ നിശാവേളകളില് അല്പമേ ഉറങ്ങിയിരുന്നുള്ളൂ.
وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ﴿١٨﴾
and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts;
അവർ രാവിന്റെ അന്തിമ യാമങ്ങളില് തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ അന്തരാളങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് പാപമോചനം തേടുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ﴿١٩﴾
and [would assign] in all that they possessed a due share unto such as might ask [for help] and such as might suffer privation.
തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കളിൽ, ചോദിച്ചു വരുന്നവർക്കും ആശ്രയമറ്റവന്നും അവകാശമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ﴿٢٠﴾
AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty,
ദൃഢവിശ്വാസമുള്ളവര്ക്ക് (ദൈവാസ്തിത്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള) ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിലുണ്ട്.
