അൽ അൻആം · Surah 6 of 114 · 165 verses · Makkah
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ﴿١﴾
ALL PRAISE is due to God, who has created the heavens and the earth, and brought into being deep darkness as well as light: and yet, those who are bent on denying the truth regard other powers as their Sustainer's equals!
ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും, കൂരിരുട്ടും വെളിച്ചവും ഉളവാക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ദൈവത്തിന്നാകുന്നു സർവസ്തുതിയും. എന്നിട്ടുമതാ സത്യനിഷേധത്തിൽ ഉറച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്നവർ ഇതര ശക്തികളെ തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന് സമന്മാരായി വെക്കുന്നു.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍۢ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًۭا ۖ وَأَجَلٌۭ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ﴿٢﴾
He it is who has created you out of clay, and then has decreed a term [for you] - a term known [only] to him. And yet you doubt -
അവനത്രെ കളിമണ്ണിൽ നിന്നും നിങ്ങളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത്. എന്നിട്ടവൻ ഒരു ആയുഷ്ക്കാലം (നിങ്ങൾക്ക്) നിശ്ചയിച്ചു. അവന്ന് മാത്രമറിയുന്ന നിർണിതമായ ഒരവധി. എന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ സംശയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ﴿٣﴾
although He is God in the heavens and on earth, knowing all that you keep secret as well as all that you do openly, and knowing what you deserve.
ആകാശങ്ങളിലും ഭൂമിയിലും അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ദൈവം. നിങ്ങള് രഹസ്യമാക്കി വെക്കുന്നതും പരസ്യമായി ചെയ്യുന്നതും അവൻ അറിയുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ അർഹിക്കുന്നതും അവൻ അറിയുന്നു.
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ﴿٤﴾
Yet whenever any of their Sustainer's messages comes unto them, they [who are bent on denying the truth] turn their backs upon it:
അവരുടെ നാഥങ്കൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഏതൊരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം അവർക്ക് വന്നുകിട്ടുമ്പോഴും (സത്യനിഷേധത്തിൽ ഉറച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്ന) അവർ അതിനെ അവഗണിച്ച് കളയുകയാണ്.
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ﴿٥﴾
and so they give the lie to this truth now that it has come unto them. In time, however, they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride.
ഈ സത്യം ഇപ്പോൾ അവർക്ക് വന്ന് കിട്ടിയപ്പോഴും അവരതിനെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു. എന്നാൽ അവർ ഏതൊന്നിനെയാണ് പരിഹസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതെന്ന വൃത്താന്തങ്ങൾ കാലാന്തരത്തിൽ അവർക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നതാണ്.
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ مَّكَّنَّٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ﴿٦﴾
Do they not see how many a generation We have destroyed before their time - [people] whom We had given a [bountiful] place on earth, the like of which We never gave unto you, and upon whom We showered heavenly blessings abundant, and at whose feet We made running waters flow? And yet We destroyed them for their sins, and gave rise to other people in their stead.
അവർക്ക് മുമ്പ് എത്ര തലമുറകളെ നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് അവർ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലേ? നിങ്ങൾക്ക് നാം ചെയ്ത് തന്നിട്ടില്ലാത്ത (അനുഗൃഹീത)സ്ഥാനം ഭൂമിയിൽ അവർക്ക് നാം നൽകിയിരുന്നു. നാം അവർക്ക് ആകാശാനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ സമൃദ്ധമായി വർഷിപ്പിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുകയും അവരുടെ താഴ്ഭാഗത്ത് കൂടി നദികൾ ഒഴുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ കാരണം നാം അവരെ ഉന്മൂലനം ചെയ്യുകയും തൽസ്ഥാനത്ത് വേറെ തലമുറകളെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَٰبًۭا فِى قِرْطَاسٍۢ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿٧﴾
But even if We had sent down unto thee [O Prophet] a writing on paper, and they had touched it with their own hands - those who are bent on denying the truth would indeed have said, "This is clearly nothing but a deception!"
(നബിയേ,) നിനക്ക് നാം എഴുതപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ഗ്രന്ഥം ഇറക്കിത്തരികയും എന്നിട്ടവരത് സ്വന്തം കൈകൾ കൊണ്ട് തൊട്ടുനോക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ പോലും ഇത് വ്യക്തമായ വഞ്ചനയല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല എന്നായിരിക്കും അവിശ്വാസികൾ പറയുക.
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌۭ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًۭا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ﴿٨﴾
They are saying, too, "Why has not an angel (visibly] been sent down unto him?" But had We sent down an angel, all would indeed have been decided, and they would have been allowed no further respite [for repentancel.
“ഈ പ്രവാചകന് (കാണുംവിധം) ഒരു മലക്കിനെ ഇറക്കിക്കൊടുക്കാത്തതെന്ത്?” എന്ന് അവർ ചോദിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ നാം മലക്കിനെ ഇറക്കിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കാര്യം തീരുമാനിക്കപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീടവർക്ക് (പശ്ചാത്താപത്തിന്) സമയം നീട്ടിക്കിട്ടുമായിരുന്നില്ല.
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَٰهُ مَلَكًۭا لَّجَعَلْنَٰهُ رَجُلًۭا وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ﴿٩﴾
And (even] if We had appointed an angel as Our message- bearer, We would certainly have made him [appear as] a man - and thus We would only have confused them in the same way as 8 they are now confusing themselves.
നാം നമ്മുടെ സന്ദേശകനായി ഒരു മലക്കിനെ അയക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, അതും (പ്രത്യക്ഷത്തിൽ) മനുഷ്യരൂപത്തിൽ തന്നെയാണയക്കുക. ഇപ്പോൾ അവർ ആശയക്കുഴപ്പത്തിൽ ഉള്ളതുപോലെ, അപ്പോഴും അവരെ നാം ആശയക്കുഴപ്പത്തിൽ പെടുത്തുമായിരുന്നു.
وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ﴿١٠﴾
And, indeed, [even] before thy time have apostles been derided - but those who scoffed at them were [in the end] overwhelmed by the very thing which they were wont to deride.
നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് പല ദൂതന്മാരും പരിഹസിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ട് അവരെ പരിഹസിച്ചിരുന്നവർക്ക് അവർ പരിഹസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതെന്തോ അത് വന്നുഭവിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്തു.
قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿١١﴾
Say: "Go all over the earth, and behold what happened in the end to those who gave the lie to the truth!"
പറയുക: “നിങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കൂ. എന്നിട്ട് സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ പരിണതി എങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് നോക്കൂ.”
قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ قُل لِّلَّهِ ۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۚ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿١٢﴾
Say: "Unto whom belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "Unto God, who has willed upon Himself the law of grace and mercy." He will assuredly gather you all together on the Day of Resurrection, [the coming of] which is beyond all doubt: yet those who have squandered their own selves - it is they who refuse to believe [in Him],
ചോദിക്കുക: “ആകാശങ്ങളിലും ഭൂമിയിലുമുള്ളതെല്ലാം ആരുടേതാകുന്നു?” പറയുക: “ദൈവത്തിൻറേതാകുന്നു. എല്ലാവരോടും കരുണയുള്ളവനാവുക എന്നത് അവൻ തന്റെ സ്ഥായിയായ സ്വഭാവമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.” ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽപ് നാളിൽ നിങ്ങളെ അവൻ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. അതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. എന്നാൽ സ്വദേഹങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ നാശത്തിലാക്കിയവർ, അവരാണ് അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവർ.
۞ وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ﴿١٣﴾
although His is all that dwells in the night and the day, and He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing.
ഇരവിലും പകലിലും വസിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം അവൻറേത് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അവൻ എല്ലാം കേൾക്കുന്നവനും അറിയുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു.
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّۭا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ ۗ قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ ۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ﴿١٤﴾
Say: "Am I to take for my master anyone but God, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, when it is He who gives nourishment and Himself needs none?" Say: "I am bidden to be foremost among those who surrender themselves unto God, and not to be among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him."
പറയുക: “ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവായ ദൈവത്തെയല്ലാതെ ഞാൻ മറ്റാരെയെങ്കിലും നാഥനായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ? അവനാകട്ടെ ആഹാരം നൽകുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അവനെ ആഹരിപ്പിക്കേതുമില്ല.” പറയുക: “തീർച്ചയായും ദൈവത്തിന് കീഴ്പ്പെട്ടവരിൽ ഒന്നാമനായിരിക്കുവാനും ഒരിക്കലും ദൈവത്വത്തിൽ പങ്ക് ചേർക്കുന്നവരിൽ പെട്ടുപോകാതിരിക്കാനുമാണ് ഞാൻ കൽപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്”.
قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ﴿١٥﴾
Say: "Behold, I would dread, were I [thus] to rebel against my Sustainer, the suffering [which would befall me] on that awesome Day [of Judgment]."
പറയുക: ഞാൻ എന്റെ നാഥനോട് ധിക്കാരം കാണിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം ഭയങ്കരമായ ആ (വിധി) നാളിലെ ശിക്ഷയെപ്പറ്റി ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.
مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ﴿١٦﴾
Upon him who shall be spared on that Day, He will indeed have bestowed His grace: and this will be a manifest triumph.
അന്നേ ദിവസം ആരെങ്കിലും ശിക്ഷയിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, അവനോട് ദൈവം മഹത്തായ കരുണ കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതാണ് വ്യക്തമായ വിജയം.
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّۢ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍۢ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿١٧﴾
And if God should touch thee with misfortune, there is none who could remove it but He; and if He should touch thee with good fortune - it is He who has the power to will anythiing:
നിനക്ക് ദൈവം വല്ല ദുർഭാഗ്യവും വരുത്തിവെക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ അത് നീക്കം ചെയ്യുവാൻ അവനല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരുമില്ല. അവൻ നിന്നെ സൗഭാഗ്യത്താൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലോ, ഏതൊരു കാര്യം ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതിനും കഴിവുള്ളവനാണവൻ.
وَهُوَ ٱلْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ﴿١٨﴾
for He alone holds sway over His creatures, and He alone is truly wise, all-aware.
അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മേൽ പരമാധികാരമുള്ളവനാണ്. അവൻ യുക്തിമാനും സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞനുമാകുന്നു.
قُلْ أَىُّ شَىْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَٰدَةًۭ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ شَهِيدٌۢ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَأُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَ ۚ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخْرَىٰ ۚ قُل لَّآ أَشْهَدُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ وَإِنَّنِى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ﴿١٩﴾
Say: "What could most weightily bear witness to the truth?" Say: "God is witness between me and you; and this Qur'an has been revealed unto me so that on the strength thereof I might warn you and all whom it may reach." Could you in truth bear witness that there are other deities side by side with God? Say: "I bear no [such] witness!" Say: "He is the One God; and, behold, far be it from me to ascribe divinity, as, you do, to aught beside Him!"
ചോദിക്കുക: “സത്യസാക്ഷ്യത്തിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും വലിയത് ഏതാകുന്നു?” പറയുക: “ദൈവമാണ് എനിക്കും നിങ്ങൾക്കും ഇടയിൽ സാക്ഷി. ദിവ്യബോധനമായി ഈ ഖുർആൻ എനിക്ക് നൽകപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്, അത് മുഖേന നിങ്ങൾക്കും അത് ചെന്നെത്തുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും ഞാൻ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയാകുന്നു.” ദൈവത്തോടൊപ്പം വേറെയും ദൈവങ്ങളുണ്ടെന്നതിന് യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കാനാവുമോ? പറയുക: “ഞാൻ സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുകയില്ല.” പറയുക: “അവൻ ഏകദൈവം മാത്രമാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ അവനോട് പങ്കുചേർക്കുന്നതുമായി എനിക്ക് യാതൊരു ബന്ധവുമില്ല.”
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمُ ۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿٢٠﴾
They unto whom We have vouchsafed revelation aforetime know this 14 as they know their own children; yet those [of them] who have squandered their own selves - it is they who refuse to believe.
നാം നേരത്തേ വേദം നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ളവർ സ്വന്തം മക്കളെ അറിയുന്നതുപോലെ അത് അറിയുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ സ്വദേഹങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ നാശത്തിലാക്കിയവർ അവരാണ് അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവർ.
