അൽ-മുനാഫിഖൂൻ · Surah 63 of 114 · 11 verses · Madinah
إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُوا۟ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ﴿١﴾
WHEN THE HYPOCRITES come unto thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed God's Apostle!" But God knows that thou art truly His Apostle; and He bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed false [in their declaration of faith].
കപടവിശ്വാസികൾ അങ്ങയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുമ്പോൾ, "അങ്ങ് തീർച്ചയായും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതൻ തന്നെയാണ് എന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുന്നു" എന്നാണ് അവർ പറയുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ നീ അവന്റെ ദൂതൻ തന്നെയാണ് എന്ന് ദൈവത്തിന് നന്നായി അറിയാം; തീർച്ചയായും കപടവിശ്വാസികൾ തങ്ങളുടെ ഈ വിശ്വാസപ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിൽ പൂർണ്ണമായും വ്യാജം പറയുന്നവരാണ് എന്നതിന് ദൈവം സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةًۭ فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿٢﴾
They have made their oaths a cover [for their falseness], and thus they turn others away from the Path of God. Evil indeed is all that they are wont to do:
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ശപഥങ്ങളെ ഒരു മറയാക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്; അങ്ങനെ അവർ ജനങ്ങളെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തടയുകയും ചെയ്തു. തീർച്ചയായും അവർ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നത് എത്രയോ നികൃഷ്ടമായ കാര്യമാണ്!
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ﴿٣﴾
this, because [they profess that] they have attained to faith, whereas [inwardly] they deny the truth - and so, a seal has been set on their hearts so that they can no longer understand [what is true and what false].
ഇത്, തങ്ങൾ വിശ്വാസം കൈവരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ പുറമേക്ക് പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും, എന്നാൽ ഉള്ളിൽ സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടാണ്. തന്മൂലം അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ മുദ്രവെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ അവർക്ക് (ഏതാണ് സത്യമെന്നും ഏതാണ് അസത്യമെന്നും) ഇനി മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുകയില്ല.
۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ ۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌۭ مُّسَنَّدَةٌۭ ۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ ۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ﴿٤﴾
Now when thou seest them, their outward appearance may please thee; and when they speak, thou art inclined to lend ear to what they say. [But though they may seem as sure of themselves] as if they were timbers [firmly] propped up, they think that every shout is [directed] against them. They are the [real] enemies [of all faith], so beware of them. [They deserve the imprecation,] "May God destroy them!" How perverted are their minds!
താങ്കൾ അവരെ കാണുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ ബാഹ്യരൂപം താങ്കളെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചേക്കാം; അവർ സംസാരിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ താങ്കൾ അവരുടെ വാക്കുകൾക്ക് ചെവികൊടുത്തു പോവുകയും ചെയ്യും. തങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അവർക്ക് വലിയ ഉറപ്പുള്ളതായി തോന്നുമെങ്കിലും അവർ ചാരിവെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മരത്തടികൾ പോലെ മാത്രമാകുന്നു; തങ്ങൾക്ക് നേരെയാണ് എല്ലാ ശബ്ദങ്ങളും ഉയരുന്നതെന്ന് അവർ കരുതുന്നു. അവർ തന്നെയാണ് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ ശത്രുക്കൾ; അതിനാൽ താങ്കൾ അവരെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. "ദൈവം അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ!" എന്ന ശാപത്തിന് അവർ അർഹരാകുന്നു. അവർ എത്ര മാത്രമാണ് സന്മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നും തെറ്റിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്!
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْا۟ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ﴿٥﴾
for, when they are told, "Come, the Apostle of God will pray [unto God] that you be forgiven", they turn their heads away, and thou canst see how they draw back in their false pride.
കാരണം, "വരൂ, നിങ്ങൾക്ക് പാപമോചനം നൽകാനായി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതൻ ദൈവത്തോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കും" എന്ന് അവരോട് പറയപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ, അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ തലകൾ തിരിച്ചു കളയുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ വ്യാജമായ അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെ അവർ എങ്ങനെയാണ് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നതെന്ന് താങ്കൾക്ക് കാണാൻ സാധിക്കും.
سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ﴿٦﴾
As for them it is all the same whether thou dost pray that they be forgiven or dost not pray for them: God will nor forgive them - for, behold, God does not bestow His guidance upon such iniquitous folk.
താങ്കൾ അവർക്കായി പാപമോചനത്തിന് പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചാലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും അവരെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം അത് ഒന്നുതന്നെയാണ്. ദൈവം ഒരിക്കലും അവർക്ക് പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയില്ല. തീർച്ചയായും, വഴിപിഴച്ചവരും ധിക്കാരികളുമായ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ദൈവം തന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗദർശനം നൽകുകയില്ല.
هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا۟ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ﴿٧﴾
It is they who say [to their compatriots 8], "Do not spend anything on those who are with God's Apostle, so that they [may be forced to] leave." However, unto God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth: but this truth the hypocrites cannot grasp.
അവരാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ നാട്ടുകാരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നത്: "ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതനോടൊപ്പമുള്ളവർക്കായി നിങ്ങൾ യാതൊന്നും ചിലവഴിക്കരുത്, എങ്കിൽ അവർ അവിടെനിന്ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ്ക്കൊള്ളും." എന്നാൽ ആകാശങ്ങളിലെയും ഭൂമിയിലെയും ഖജനാവുകൾ ദൈവത്തിന് മാത്രം അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാകുന്നു; പക്ഷേ കപടവിശ്വാസികൾ അത് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല.
يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿٨﴾
[And] they say, "Indeed, when we return to the City [we,] the ones most worthy of honour will surely drive out therefrom those most contemptible ones!" However, all honour belongs to God, and [thus] to His Apostle and those who believe [in God]: but of this the hypocrites are not aware.
അവർ പറയുന്നു: "ഞങ്ങൾ മദീനയിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തിയാൽ പ്രതാപികൾ അവിടെനിന്ന് പതിതരെ പുറംതള്ളുകതന്നെ ചെയ്യും!" എന്നാൽ എല്ലാ അന്തസ്സും പ്രതാപവും ദൈവത്തിനും, അതുവഴി അവിടുത്തെ ദൂതന്നും സത്യവിശ്വാസികൾക്കും മാത്രമുള്ളതാകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും കപടവിശ്വാസികൾ ഈ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം അറിയുന്നില്ല.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ﴿٩﴾
O YOU who have attained to faith! Let not your worldly goods or your children make you oblivious of the remembrance of God: for if any behave thus - it is they, they who are the losers!
വിശ്വാസമാർജിച്ചവരേ! നിങ്ങളുടെ ലൗകിക സമ്പത്തോ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്താനങ്ങളോ ദൈവസ്മരണയിൽ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ അശ്രദ്ധരാക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. ആരെങ്കിലും അപ്രകാരം ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കിൽ — അവർ മാത്രമായിരിക്കും പൂർണ്ണമായും നഷ്ടം സംഭവിച്ചവർ!
وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ﴿١٠﴾
And spend on others out of what We have provided for you as sustenance, ere there come a time when death approaches any of you, and he then says, "O my Sustainer! If only Thou wouldst grant me a delay for a short while, so that I could give in charity and be among the righteous!"
നിങ്ങളിൽ ഏതൊരാൾക്കും മരണം ആസന്നമാകുന്നതിന് മുമ്പായി, നമുക്ക് നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ള ഉപജീവനത്തിൽ നിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കായി ചിലവഴിക്കുവിൻ. അന്നേരത്ത് അവൻ ഇപ്രകാരം പറയും: "എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ! എനിക്ക് അല്പകാലത്തേക്ക് കൂടി നീ എന്താണ് ഒരു അവധി നീട്ടി നൽകാതിരുന്നത്? എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും പുണ്യവാന്മാരിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ!
وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَا ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿١١﴾
But never does God grant a delay to a human being when his term has come; and God is fully aware of all that you do.
എന്നാൽ ഒരാളുടെ നിശ്ചിത ആയുസ്സ് എത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ദൈവം ഒരിക്കലും അയാൾക്ക് സമയം നീട്ടി നൽകുകയില്ല; ദൈവം നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതെല്ലാം പൂർണ്ണമായി അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
