അൽ ജിന്ന് · Surah 72 of 114 · 28 verses · Makkah
قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًۭا﴿١﴾
SAY: "It has been revealed to me that some of the unseen beings gave ear [to this divine writ], and thereupon said [unto their fellow-beings]: "'Verily, we have heard a wondrous discourse,
നീ പറയുക: "ജിന്നുകളിൽപ്പെട്ട ഒരു കൂട്ടർ (ഈ ദിവ്യഗ്രന്ഥം) ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേൾക്കുകയുണ്ടായി എന്ന് എനിക്ക് ദിവ്യബോധനം (വഹ്യ്) നൽകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് അവർ (തങ്ങളുടെ സഹജീവികളോട്) പറഞ്ഞു: “തീർച്ചയായും അത്യദ്ഭുതകരമായൊരു പ്രഭാഷണം ഞങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.”
يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦ ۖ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدًۭا﴿٢﴾
guiding towards consciousness of what is right; and so We have come to believe in it. And we shall never ascribe divinity to anyone beside our Sustainer,
സന്മാർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നതാകുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ അതിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥനില് മറ്റാരെയും പങ്കുചേർക്കുകയുമില്ല.
وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةًۭ وَلَا وَلَدًۭا﴿٣﴾
for [we know] that sublimely exalted is our Sustainer's majesty: no consort has He ever taken unto Himself, nor a son!
കാരണം, (ഞങ്ങൾക്കറിയാം) ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ മഹിമ അത്യന്തം ഉന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു: അവൻ ആരെയും സഹധര്മിണിയോ സന്താനമോ ആക്കിയിട്ടില്ല!
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطًۭا﴿٤﴾
"'And [now we know] that the foolish among us were wont to say outrageous things about God,
"'ഞങ്ങളിലെ മൂഢന്മാർ ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അങ്ങേയറ്റം അതിക്രമം നിറഞ്ഞ കാര്യങ്ങൾ (അസംബന്ധങ്ങൾ) കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചു പറയുമായിരുന്നുവെന്നും (ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു).
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا﴿٥﴾
and that [we were mistaken when] we thought that neither man nor [any of] the invisible forces would ever tell a lie about God.
മനുഷ്യരോ (മറ്റുളള) അദൃശ്യശക്തികളോ ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരിക്കലും കളവ് പറയുകയില്ലെന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ വിചാരിച്ചതിൽ (ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് തെറ്റുപറ്റിയിരുന്നുവെന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു)
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًۭا﴿٦﴾
Yet [it has always happened] that certain kinds of humans would seek refuge with certain kinds of [such] invisible forces: but these only increased their confusion
എങ്കിലും, മനുഷ്യരിൽപ്പെട്ട ചിലർ ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ചില അദൃശ്യശക്തികളിൽ അഭയം തേടുമായിരുന്നു: എന്നാൽ ഇതവരുടെ ആശയക്കുഴപ്പവും ഭയവും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുക മാത്രമാണ് ചെയ്തത്.
وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًۭا﴿٧﴾
so much so that they came to think, as you [once] thought, that God would never [again] send forth anyone [as His apostle].
അത് എത്രത്തോളമെന്നാൽ, നിങ്ങൾ (മുൻപ്) വിചാരിച്ചിരുന്നത് പോലെ, ഇനിമേൽ ദൈവം ഒരാളെയും (തന്റെ ദൂതനായി) നിയോഗിക്കുകയില്ലെന്ന് അവരും വിചാരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًۭا شَدِيدًۭا وَشُهُبًۭا﴿٨﴾
"'And [so it happened] that we reached out towards heaven: but we found it filled with mighty guards and flames,
അങ്ങനെ (ഒരു സന്ദർഭത്തിൽ) ഞങ്ങൾ വാനലോകം പരതി നോക്കി; അപ്പോൾ ബലിഷ്ഠരായ കാവൽക്കാരെക്കൊണ്ടും അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളെക്കൊണ്ടും അത് നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതായിട്ടാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ കണ്ടത്.
وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْءَانَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًۭا رَّصَدًۭا﴿٩﴾
notwithstanding that we were established in positions [which we had thought well-suited] to listening to [whatever secrets might be in] it: and anyone who now [or ever] tries to listen will [likewise] find a flame lying in wait for him!
(അവന്റെ രഹസ്യങ്ങൾ) ഒളിഞ്ഞു കേൾക്കാൻ (ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യമെന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ കരുതിയ) ചില താവളങ്ങളിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഇരിക്കാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും! എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ (അല്ലെങ്കിൽ എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും) ആരെങ്കിലും ഒളിഞ്ഞു കേൾക്കാൻ മുതിരുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, അവനെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു അഗ്നിജ്വാല അവൻ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതാണ്!
وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِىٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًۭا﴿١٠﴾
"'And [now we have become aware] that we [created beings] may not know whether evil fortune is intended for [any of] those who live on earth, or whether it is their Sustainer's will to endow them with consciousness of what is right:
ഭൂമിയിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നവരിൽ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും ദുഷ്ടഭാഗ്യം ഉണ്ടാകുമോ അതോ അവരുടെ നാഥൻ അവർക്ക് ശരിയായതിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ബോധം നൽകുമോ എന്ന് (സൃഷ്ടികളായ) നമുക്ക് അറിയാൻ കഴിയില്ല എന്ന് (ഇപ്പോൾ നമുക്ക് ബോധ്യമായി).
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدًۭا﴿١١﴾
Just as [we do not know how it happens] that some from among us are righteous, while some of us are [far] below that: we have always followed widely divergent paths.
ഞങ്ങളിൽ ചിലർ സൽക്കർമ്മികളും മറ്റു ചിലർ അതിന് (ഏറെ) താഴെയുള്ളവരുമാണ് എന്ന കാര്യം (അറിയാൻ കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ തന്നെ): ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഭിന്നിച്ച പല വഴികളിലുമായിരുന്നു.
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُۥ هَرَبًۭا﴿١٢﴾
"'And, withal, we have come to know that we can never elude God [while we live] on earth, and that we can never elude Him by escaping [from life].
"തീർച്ചയായും, ഭൂമിയിൽ വെച്ച് (നാം ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ) ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പിടിയിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ നമുക്കൊരിക്കലും കഴിയില്ലെന്നും, (ജീവിതത്തിൽ നിന്ന്) ഓടിപ്പോയിക്കൊണ്ട് അവനെ തോൽപ്പിക്കാൻ നമുക്കൊരിക്കലും കഴിയില്ലെന്നും നാം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ ۖ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًۭا وَلَا رَهَقًۭا﴿١٣﴾
Hence, as soon as we heard this [call to His] guidance, we came to believe in it: and he who believes in his Sustainer need never have fear of loss or injustice.
അതിനാൽ, സന്മാര്ഗ സന്ദേശംകേട്ടയുടൻ തന്നെ ഞങ്ങളതില് വിശ്വസിച്ചു. തന്റെ നാഥനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവനാരോ, അവൻ (തന്റെ നന്മകൾ) കുറഞ്ഞുപോകുമെന്നോ അനീതിക്ക് ഇരയാകുമെന്നോ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതില്ല."
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ ۖ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا۟ رَشَدًۭا﴿١٤﴾
"'Yet [it is true] that among us are such as have surrendered themselves to God - just as there are among us such as have abandoned themselves to wrongdoing. Now as for those who surrender themselves to Him - it is they that have attained to consciousness of what is right;
"എങ്കിലും (ഇതും ഒരു യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമാണ്), നമ്മിൽ ദൈവത്തിന് പൂർണ്ണമായി കീഴ്പ്പെട്ടവരുണ്ട് (മുസ്ലിങ്ങൾ) - സത്യത്തില്നിന്ന് വ്യതിചലിച്ചവരുമുള്ളതുപോലെ. എന്നാൽ, ആർ ദൈവത്തിന് പൂർണ്ണമായി കീഴ്പ്പെടുന്നുവോ - അവർ മാത്രമാണ് ശരിയായ ബോധവും നേർവഴിയും പ്രാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളവർ.
وَأَمَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا۟ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًۭا﴿١٥﴾
but as for those who abandon themselves to wrongdoing - they are indeed but fuel for [the fires of] hell!'"
എന്നാൽ സത്യത്തില്നിന്ന് വ്യതിചലിച്ചവരോ, അവർ നരകത്തിന് (കത്തിയെരിയാനുള്ള) വെറും വിറകുകളായിത്തീരുന്നു!
وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًۭا﴿١٦﴾
[KNOW,] THEN, that if they [who have heard Our call] keep firmly to the [right] path, We shall certainly shower them with blessings abundant,
എന്നാൽ (അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളുക), അവർ (നമ്മുടെ ആഹ്വാനം കേട്ടവർ) നേരായ ആ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, തീർച്ചയായും നാം അവർക്ക് സമൃദ്ധമായി അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ വർഷിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്.
لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًۭا صَعَدًۭا﴿١٧﴾
so as to test them by this means: for he who shall turn away from the remembrance of his Sustainer, him will He cause to undergo suffering most grievous.
അതുവഴി അവരെ പരീക്ഷിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്: എന്നാൽ തന്റെ നാഥന്റെ സ്മരണയിൽ നിന്ന് ആരെങ്കിലും തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നപക്ഷം, അങ്ങേയറ്റം കഠിനമായ ശിക്ഷയ്ക്ക് അവൻ അവരെ ഇരയാക്കുന്നതാണ്.
وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًۭا﴿١٨﴾
And [know] that all worship is due to God [alone]: hence, do not invoke anyone side by side with God!
കൂടാതെ (അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളുക), ആരാധനകളെല്ലാം ദൈവത്തിന് (മാത്രം) അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാകുന്നു: അതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തോടൊപ്പം മറ്റാരെയും വിളിച്ചു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കരുത്!
وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا۟ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًۭا﴿١٩﴾
Yet [thus it is] that whenever a servant of God stands up in prayer to Him, they [who are bent on denying the truth] would gladly overwhelm him with their crowds.
"എങ്കിലും (കാര്യം ഇതായിരിക്കെ), ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഒരു ദാസൻ അവനെ വിളിച്ചുപ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാനായി എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിൽക്കുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം, (സത്യനിഷേധത്തിൽ ഉറച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്നവർ) തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടം കൂടി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വരിഞ്ഞുമുറുക്കാൻ തുനിയുകയാണ്.
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدًۭا﴿٢٠﴾
Say: "I invoke my Sustainer alone, for I do not ascribe divinity to anyone beside Him."
നീ പറയുക: "ഞാൻ എന്റെ നാഥനെ മാത്രമാണ് വിളിച്ച് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നത്, അവനു പുറമെ മറ്റാരെയും ഞാൻ പങ്കുചേർക്കുകയുമില്ല."
