അൽ ബുറൂജ് · Surah 85 of 114 · 22 verses · Makkah
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ﴿١﴾
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations,
മഹത്തായ നക്ഷത്രസമൂഹങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ വാനലോകത്തെ മുൻനിർത്തി ചിന്തിക്കുക,
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ﴿٢﴾
and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day,
(പിന്നീട്) വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട ആ നാളിനെക്കുറിച്ചും (ഓർക്കുക),
وَشَاهِدٍۢ وَمَشْهُودٍۢ﴿٣﴾
and [of] Him who witnesses [all], and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]!
(എല്ലാറ്റിനും) സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുന്നവനെക്കുറിച്ചും യാതൊരു കാര്യത്തിനാണോ അവനാൽ സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും (ഓർക്കുക)!
قُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ﴿٤﴾
THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit
അവർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെയാണ് നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്, അതായത് (വിശ്വാസം കൈവരിച്ചവർക്ക് വേണ്ടി) ആളിക്കത്തുന്ന അഗ്നിയുള്ള അഗ്നികുണ്ഡം ഒരുക്കുന്നവർ,
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ﴿٥﴾
of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]!
അവർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെയാണ് നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്, അതായത് (വിശ്വാസം കൈവരിച്ചവർക്ക് വേണ്ടി) ആളിക്കത്തുന്ന അഗ്നിയുള്ള അഗ്നികുണ്ഡം ഒരുക്കുന്നവർ,
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌۭ﴿٦﴾
Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire],
ഇതാ! ആ (അഗ്നികുണ്ഡത്തിന്) ചുറ്റും (സന്തോഷത്തോടെ) ഇരിക്കുന്നവരാണവർ!
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌۭ﴿٧﴾
fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers,
വിശ്വാസികളോട് തങ്ങൾ എന്താണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പൂർണ്ണ ബോധ്യത്തോടെ തന്നെ,
وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ﴿٨﴾
whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due,
വിശ്വാസികളോട് അവര്ക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്ന വിരോധത്തിനു കാരണം, അജയ്യനും സ്തുത്യർഹനുമായ ദൈവത്തിൽ അവർ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നതു മാത്രമായിരുന്നു.
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ﴿٩﴾
[and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything!
ആകാശ-ഭൂമികളുടെ ആധിപത്യത്തിനുടയവനായ ആ ദൈവത്തിൽ. എന്നാൽ ദൈവം എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങൾക്കും സാക്ഷിയാകുന്നു!"
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ﴿١٠﴾
Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them!
തീർച്ചയായും, വിശ്വാസികളെയും വിശ്വാസിനികളെയും ദ്രോഹിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് പശ്ചാത്തപിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാരോ, അവർക്കായി നരകശിക്ഷയുണ്ട്: അതെ, കത്തിയെരിയുന്ന തീയിൽ കരിച്ചുകളയുന്ന ശിക്ഷ അവർക്കുണ്ട്!
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ﴿١١﴾
[But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great!
(എന്നാൽ,) തീർച്ചയായും വിശ്വാസം കൈവരിക്കുകയും സല്ക്കര്മങ്ങളാചരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാരോ, അവര്ക്കു (വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിൽ) താഴ്ഭാഗത്തു കൂടെ അരുവികൾ ഒഴുകുന്ന സ്വര്ഗീയാരാമങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരിക്കും — അത് മഹത്തായ വിജയമാകുന്നു!
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ﴿١٢﴾
VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong!
തീർച്ചയായും, നിന്റെ നാഥന്റെ പിടുത്തം അത്യന്തം ശക്തമാണ്!
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ﴿١٣﴾
Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew.
നോക്കൂ, അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ആദിയില് (മനുഷ്യനെ) സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത്, അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് അവനെ വീണ്ടും ജീവനോടെ പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതും.
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ﴿١٤﴾
And He alone is truly- forgiving, all-embracing in His love,
അവൻ മാത്രമാണ് ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും സ്നേഹം നിറഞ്ഞവനും,
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ﴿١٥﴾
in sublime almightiness enthroned,
പരമോന്നതമായ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ നാഥനും,
فَعَّالٌۭ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ﴿١٦﴾
a sovereign doer of whatever He wills.
താൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതെന്തും പരമാധികാരത്തോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു.
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ﴿١٧﴾
HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts
ആ (പാപികളായ) സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ചരിത്രം നിനക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ,
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ﴿١٨﴾
of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud?
ഫറവോന്റെയും ഥമൂദ് (ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെയും) ചരിത്രം?
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍۢ﴿١٩﴾
And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie:
എന്നിട്ടും, സത്യനിഷേധികൾ ഇത് നിഷേധിക്കുന്നതിൽ തന്നെ തുടരുകയാണ്;
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ﴿٢٠﴾
but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it.
എന്നാൽ അവർ അറിയാതെ തന്നെ ദൈവം അവരെ (തന്റെ അറിവുകൊണ്ടും ശക്തികൊണ്ടും) പൂർണ്ണമായി വലയം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
