അൽ അഅ്ലാ · Surah 87 of 114 · 19 verses · Makkah
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى﴿١﴾
EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name:[the glory of] the Al-Highest,
അത്യുന്നതനായ നിന്റെ നാഥന്റെ നാമത്തിന്റെ അപാരമായ മഹത്വം പ്രകീർത്തിക്കുക;
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ﴿٢﴾
who creates [every thing], and thereupon forms it in accordance with with what it is meant to be,
(എല്ലാറ്റിനെയും) സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് ശരിപ്പെടുത്തിയവന്റെ,
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ﴿٣﴾
and who determines the nature [of all that exists], and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment],
(നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും) സ്വഭാവം നിർണ്ണയിക്കുകയും, അതിനുശേഷം അതിനെ (അതിന്റെ പൂർത്തീകരണത്തിലേക്ക്) നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവന്റെ,
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ﴿٤﴾
and who brings forth herbage,
സസ്യങ്ങള് മുളപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്റെ,
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ﴿٥﴾
and thereupon causes it to decay into rust- brown stubble!
അതിനുശേഷം അതിനെ തുരുമ്പിച്ച തവിട്ടുനിറത്തിലുള്ള വൈക്കോലാക്കി നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്റെ!
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ﴿٦﴾
WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught],
നാം നിന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കും, പിന്നെ (നിന്നെ പഠിപ്പിച്ചതിൽ നിന്നൊന്നും) നീ മറന്നുപോകുകയുമില്ല,
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ﴿٧﴾
save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] -:
(നീ മറന്നുപോകാൻ) ദൈവം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചതൊഴിച്ച്. -കാരണം, തീർച്ചയായും അവൻ (മനുഷ്യന്റെ) ഗ്രഹണശക്തിക്ക് മുമ്പിൽ തുറന്നുകിടക്കുന്നതും (അതിൽ നിന്ന്) മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുമെല്ലാം അറിയുന്നു.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ﴿٨﴾
and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease.
(അങ്ങനെ) (അന്തിമമായ) എളുപ്പത്തിലേക്കുള്ള സുഗമമായ വഴിയൊരുക്കിത്തരുന്നതാകുന്നു.
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ﴿٩﴾
REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]:
അതിനാൽ, ഈ ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കൽ ഉപകാരപ്പെടുമെന്ന് (തോന്നിയാലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും), (സത്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് മറ്റുള്ളവരെ) ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുക:
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ﴿١٠﴾
in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God],
(ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച്) ഭയമുള്ളവൻ അത് മനസ്സിൽ വെക്കും,
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى﴿١١﴾
but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch
എന്നാൽ അതിൽ നിന്ന് ഏറ്റവും നിർഭാഗ്യവാനായ ആ ദുർമാർഗ്ഗി അകന്നുനിൽക്കും.
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ﴿١٢﴾
he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire
(വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിൽ) ആളുന്ന തീ സഹിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നവൻ
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ﴿١٣﴾
wherein he will neither die nor remain alive.
അതിൽ അവൻ മരിക്കുകയോ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുകയോ ഇല്ല.
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ﴿١٤﴾
To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world],
(ഈ ലോകത്ത്) വിശുദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവൻ (വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിൽ) സന്തോഷത്തിലേക്ക് തീർച്ചയായും എത്തും,
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ﴿١٥﴾
and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him].
തന്റെ നാഥന്റെ നാമം സ്മരിക്കുകയും, (അവനോട്) പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا﴿١٦﴾
But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world,
എന്നാൽ അല്ല, (ഓ മനുഷ്യരേ,) നിങ്ങൾ ഭൗതികജീവിതത്തിനാണ് മുൻഗണന നൽകുന്നത്,
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ﴿١٧﴾
although the life to come is better and more enduring.
വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവിതം കൂടുതൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠവും ശാശ്വതവുമാണെങ്കിലും.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ﴿١٨﴾
Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations
തീർച്ചയായും, ഇതെല്ലാം മുൻകാല വെളിപാടുകളിൽ (പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്) -
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ﴿١٩﴾
the revelations of Abraham and Moses.
അബ്രഹാമിന്റെയും മോശെയുടെയും വെളിപാടുകളിൽ.
