അൽ ബയ്യിന · Surah 98 of 114 · 8 verses · Period Uncertain
لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ﴿١﴾
IT IS NOT [conceivable] that such as are bent on denying the truth - [be they] from among the followers of earlier revelation or from among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God - should ever be abandoned [by Him] ere there comes unto them the [full] evidence of the truth:
വേദക്കാരിലും ബഹുദൈവ വിശ്വാസികളിലും പെട്ട സത്യനിഷേധികൾ വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവ് തങ്ങൾക്ക് കിട്ടുന്നത് വരെ (അവിശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിന്ന്) വേറിട്ട് പോരുന്നവരായിട്ടില്ല.
رَسُولٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًۭا مُّطَهَّرَةًۭ﴿٢﴾
an apostle from God, conveying [unto them] revelations blest with purity,
ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു ദൂതൻ, പരിശുദ്ധിയാൽ അനുഗൃഹീതമായ ഏടുകൾ (അവർക്ക്) എത്തിക്കുന്നത് വരെ,
فِيهَا كُتُبٌۭ قَيِّمَةٌۭ﴿٣﴾
wherein there are ordinances of ever-true soundness and clarity.
അതിൽ എപ്പോഴും സത്യവും വ്യക്തതയുമുള്ള നിയമങ്ങളാണുള്ളത്.
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ﴿٤﴾
Now those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime did break up their unity [of faith] after such an evidence of the truth had come to them.
എന്നാൽ മുൻപ് വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നൽകപ്പെട്ടവർ തങ്ങൾക്ക് സത്യത്തിന്റെ അത്തരം ഒരു വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവ് വന്നുകിട്ടിയതിന് ശേഷമാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ (വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ) ഐക്യം തകർത്തത്.
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ﴿٥﴾
And withal, they were not enjoined aught but that they should worship God, sincere in their faith in Him alone, turning away from all that is false; and that they should be constant in prayer; and that they should spend in charity: for this is a moral law endowed with ever-true soundness and clarity.
തന്നെയുമല്ല, എല്ലാ അസത്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും തിരിഞ്ഞുനടന്ന്, തങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം അവനിൽ മാത്രം അർപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട്, ആത്മാർത്ഥതയോടെ ദൈവത്തെ മാത്രം വണങ്ങണമെന്നും; പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ നിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കണമെന്നും; സകാത്ത് നൽകണമെന്നും അല്ലാതെ അവരോട് കൽപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല: എന്തെന്നാൽ എപ്പോഴും സത്യവും വ്യക്തതയുമുള്ള ധാർമ്മിക നിയമം ഇതാകുന്നു.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ﴿٦﴾
Verily, those who [despite all evidence] are bent on denying the truth - [be they] from among the followers of earlier revelation or from among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God - will find themselves in the fire of hell, therein to abide: they are the worst of all creatures.
തീർച്ചയായും, (എല്ലാ തെളിവുകളും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും) സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിക്കാൻ മുതിരുന്നവർ — മുൻ വേദഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടരുന്നവരിൽ നിന്നോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ദൈവത്തിന് പുറമെ മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് ദൈവികത്വം കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നവരിൽ നിന്നോ ഉള്ളവർ — നരകാഗ്നിയിലായിരിക്കും വന്നെത്തുക, അവരതിൽ സ്ഥിരവാസികളായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും: അവർ സൃഷ്ടികളിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും മോശപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ﴿٧﴾
[And,] verily, those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds - it is they, they who are the best of all creatures.
(എന്നാൽ) തീർച്ചയായും, വിശ്വാസം കൈക്കൊള്ളുകയും സൽകർമ്മങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവർ ആരോ — അവർ തന്നെയാകുന്നു സൃഷ്ടികളിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമർ.
جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭا ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ﴿٨﴾
Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!
അവർക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലുണ്ട്: താഴ് ഭാഗത്തുകൂടി അരുവികൾ ഒഴുകുന്ന നിത്യസൗഭാഗ്യത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്യാനങ്ങൾ, അവരതിൽ സ്ഥിരവാസികളായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്; ദൈവം അവരെക്കുറിച്ച് തൃപ്തിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, അവർ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചും തൃപ്തിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു: തന്റെ നാഥനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ ആരോ അവനെയാണ് ഇതെല്ലാം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്!
