വാഖിഅ · Surah 56 of 114 · 96 verses · Makkah
إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ﴿١﴾
WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass,
ആ അനിവാര്യമായ കാര്യം (ഖിയാമത്ത് നാൾ) സംഭവിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ,
لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ﴿٢﴾
there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass,
അത് സംഭവിക്കുന്നതിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്ന യാതൊന്നും അപ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കില്ല.
خَافِضَةٌۭ رَّافِعَةٌ﴿٣﴾
abasing [some], exalting [others]!
അത് ചിലരെ താഴ്ത്തുന്നതും, മറ്റു ചിലരെ ഉയർത്തുന്നതുമാണ്!
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّۭا﴿٤﴾
When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe],
ഭൂമി കഠിനമായി കമ്പനം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ,
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّۭا﴿٥﴾
and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards,
പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ തകർന്ന് തരിപ്പണമാക്കപ്പെടുകയും,
فَكَانَتْ هَبَآءًۭ مُّنۢبَثًّۭا﴿٦﴾
so that they become as scattered dust
അങ്ങനെ അവ ചിതറിത്തെറിച്ച ധൂളീപടലമായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ,
وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ثَلَٰثَةًۭ﴿٧﴾
[on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds.
അന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ മൂന്ന് വിഭാഗങ്ങളായി തീരുകയും ചെയ്യും.
فَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ﴿٨﴾
Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right!
അങ്ങനെ വലതുപക്ഷത്തുള്ളവർ (സന്മാർഗ്ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചവർ); എത്രയോ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാരാണ് ആ വലതുപക്ഷത്തുള്ളവർ!
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ﴿٩﴾
And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil!
ഇടതുപക്ഷത്തുള്ളവർ (തിന്മയിൽ ആണ്ടുപോയവർ); എത്രയോ നിർഭാഗ്യവാന്മാരാണ് ആ ഇടതുപക്ഷത്തുള്ളവർ!
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ﴿١٠﴾
But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]:
വിശ്വാസത്തിലും സൽകർമ്മങ്ങളിലും മുൻകടന്നവർ തന്നെയായിരിക്കും പരലോകത്തും മുൻനിരയിലുള്ളവർ.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ﴿١١﴾
they who were [always] drawn close unto God!
അവർ തന്നെയത്രെ അല്ലാഹുവിലേക്ക് സാമീപ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ചവർ!
فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ﴿١٢﴾
In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] -
അനുഗ്രഹപൂർണ്ണമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തോപ്പുകളിൽ അവർ വസിക്കുന്നതാണ് –
ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿١٣﴾
a good many of those of olden times,
പൂർവ്വികരിൽ നിന്ന് ധാരാളം പേരും
وَقَلِيلٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ﴿١٤﴾
but [only] a few of later times.
പിൻഗാമികളിൽ നിന്ന് കുറച്ചു പേരും.
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مَّوْضُونَةٍۢ﴿١٥﴾
[They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness,
സ്വർണ്ണനൂലുകൾ കൊണ്ട് നെയ്തെടുത്ത (രത്നങ്ങൾ പതിച്ച) മഞ്ചങ്ങളിൽ അവർ ഉപവിഷ്ടരായിരിക്കും.
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ﴿١٦﴾
reclining upon them, facing one another [in love].
സ്നേഹപൂർവം മുഖാമുഖമായി അതിലവർ ചാരിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌۭ مُّخَلَّدُونَ﴿١٧﴾
Immortal youths will wait upon them
നിത്യയൗവനമുള്ള ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പരിചരണത്തിനായി ചുറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും;
بِأَكْوَابٍۢ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۢ﴿١٨﴾
with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs
പവിത്രമായ ഉറവകളിൽ നിന്നുപകർന്നെടുത്ത സ്വർഗീയ പാനീയംനിരച്ച കോപ്പകളും കൂജകളും ചഷകങ്ങളുമായി.
لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ﴿١٩﴾
by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk;
അതുമൂലം അവരുടെ ശിരസ്സിന് ഭാരമോ മനസ്സിൽ മയക്കമോ അനുഭവപ്പെടുകയില്ല; അവരെ അത് മത്തുപിടിപ്പിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
وَفَٰكِهَةٍۢ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ﴿٢٠﴾
and with fruit of any kind that they may choose,
അവർ കൊതിക്കുന്ന (ഇഷ്ടാനുസരണം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാവുന്ന) ഏതുതരം ഫലവർഗ്ഗങ്ങളും,
